How long after benefit message do we get a decision via the portal?

I literally applied for FAFSA a week ago I just want to know if I’m in or not lol
well I hope that those including me who haven’t heard anything yet today will get something by next week. probably an acceptance and not a rejection? 
@uschopefulll When I was rejected? I was technically trying for Dornsife/Undecided, but was being ridiculous and put a Viterbi major down as my second choice. When I was accepted, I was Dornsife for both majors.
When u were rejected did the ability to benefit pop up too or is that just an acceptance type thing because im sill wondering since i fot that message where i seem to stand
if we got ability to benefit today we should expect letters tomorrow or monday?
@daRamz I never knew to look for the ability to benefit notification That was something that only really came to my attention in the 2015 thread as more and more people on here discussed it (I was rejected in 2014). So yeah, the ability to benefit is just an indicator of acceptance. You should never see it if you’re going to rejected.
Yeah i got a ability to benefit but damm id rather just get an email than wait for a letter decision

I got my ability to benefit early this morning and then my portal updated with my admissions decision less than 3hrs later. It’s probably different for some but it’ll probably change within the next 24hrs max.
@daRamz yeah, your portal should update within the next 24 hours. I got the ability to benefit notification yesterday around 3 and my portal updated today before noon. I was also able to see my STARS report on Oasis this morning. Congrats!!

Hey guys, I got accepted to Marshall business admin- FALL semester this morning!! (around 9 am PST) with the ability to benefit around 5 pm yesterday, I’m an incoming sophomore from Texas (SMU)
my stats are
4.0 fall semester,
4.0 spring semester
about 50 credits
good EC’s
Good essay (I think?)
Got spring grade request April 29th, sent my grades in on May 20th.

Please help: Im an incoming sophomore applicant. We don’t have to send SAT scores if we have completed 30 units by the end of spring 2016?
I just got a notification in the “submit application materials” that said I need to upload my SAT scores. I clicked on it and it said “A score report from your most recent sitting(s) of the SAT or ACT. Even though you may have sent us a copy of your scores, your score report must come to us directly from the reporting services of the testing agency. Contact them to request a report if you have not already done so.”
What are your stats? @daRamz
