i just called the admission office just now and ask for a status update on my application. The lady on the phone said a decision has been made and i’ll probably receive something by the end of this week. She also mention that I’ve called yesterday also lol I did not know that the system keeps track of our numbers. I do not know if she’s lying about " a decision has been made" to prevent me from calling back again tomorrow, but I hope this is a good sign…hopefully…
Anyone still waiting have a similar situation as I do?

@ezgnim yes marshall applicant ! I actually prefer spring admit. I’ve completed most of my prereq for marshall such as accounting and math except for my GEs. I plan to take all my GEs at my ccc than at USC so I could save money.
@pomeranian4rich How the heck did they know you called before? Was it somehow the same person? If they say a decision has been made, I’d believe them. The only time I think they lie is when they say “you’ll hear back in 2 weeks” or something like that. Whenever I called, they would all have different stories about the timeframe. If they’ve actually stated a decision was made, I’d take their word. It also seems like some people that got the ability to benefit thing called just to verify a decision was made (even though they already knew it), so I’d believe her

They do track calls, besides your phone number, system has you enter USC id or they ask for it when speaking with you - they keep an automated call/incident log.
