@pomeranian4rich it takes a couple days for your commitment to follow through in the system. i had to wait the week until i was able to use mine! so it may take 2-3 days and then you can start using it

@John6311 how long after you paid your enrollment did it take to get the orientation email?
@pomeranian4rich if they’re asking for you to confirm your USCID than my guess would be that you were accepted
I was trying to pay my enrollment fee and i accidentally closed my browser on the credit card page and now can’t figure out how to get back there. Any help?
@johnnyUSC What do you mean you can’t get back? Have you tried logging into YouSC and clicking Enrollment Commitment Deposit and doing it again through there? You may end up with the same glitch someone else had where they didn’t have to pay after closing it out.
@pomeranian4rich I had that message yesterday around 4am/5am but it returned to my normal acceptance and FAST screen around 9am/10am EST. I have received an acceptance though, so I do not know what it means for you.
@bergamott yeah there is no option for Enrollment Commitment Deposit anymore, i just get the portal page with all the info about orientation, housing etc. Seems like i got the same error as the other guy… not good.

rejected. oh well. 4.0 sgr 3.7 gpa transferable I don’t know if I should appeal or not.
@johnnyUSC I think that means you dont have to pay because the same thing happened to me. My portal updated and it says “you are now enrolled in the spring semester” on the top even though i never finished putting my credit card info in
@pomeranian4rich Do consider the timeline to orientation/housing/classes beginning. If you think you have a strong case you should go for it! I have a lack of faith in their speed but you never know.
@xerxes96 i actually called the admission office and the guy told me the system said I paid for it even when i didn’t. He said I’ll get an email in a couple days saying the card didn’t process, and i’ll need to retry.
How long after we pay will we be able to see our transfer report?

@pomeranian4rich you should appeal, you’ve got nothing to lose and pretty good stats
@pomeranian4rich so sorry, but it sure doesn’t hurt to appeal. Try to include something that wasn’t in your app, an explanation for grades, personal struggles that interfered, any awards or accomplishments not included, etc. Let them know you’d happily accept Spring.
@waitgame applied to Marshall and math/Econ for alternative. to be more specific I took general chem, college seminar, calc1 English 101 for fall all A except for Chem (B) in spring I took English 102(critical thinking) financial acct, Marco-Econ, Chinese4( I did not know Marshall doesn’t require a foreign language) , and calc 2 all A’s. I did not expect to get in this year and originally plan to transfer after two years of community college for financial reasons. I’ll try again next year and all my GE’s will be completed by that time.
Anyone that received a decision last week get their aid packet yet???
