Just got my fin aid pack and it’s pretty generous. However I’ll have to be living with family to cut down the cost (it would come to 25000 w/ expensive housing). For anybody who’s curious, the calculator is pretty accurate, give or take a about 5000. I think I’ll be committing today, fight on!

@Kraz4CocoPuffs you have to be pretty pro-active about it. You need to register your net ID first on MyUSC. once you register your net ID you can follow the links in the step by step instructions to sign up for orientation that can be found on the orientation site directly or through the register for orientation link on the YouSC portal. Once you’ve registered your NetID you’ll be able to click on a link that will take you to register (which is found in the step by step instructions).
As long as your NetID is set up you don’t have to wait for the email. But today is the 15th and the deadline for the 29th orientation (last orientation) was yesterday. you may have to call the orientation office to sign up instead.
I used the aid calculator and with that estimate was 100%, and then my actual aid was drastically different. Use with caution! For all committed and recently accepted, have a great time at USC! It’s been a great ride

@bergamott is your EFC 0? Or was it higher than that? Just curious because I’ve heard the calculator was pretty accurate.

@penntousc My EFC was about 5300, and I used all of them same information on the calculator. It estimated my out of pocket to be approx $13k.
@John6311 Unfortunately no, there’s no way I can go with sticker price lol.
@bergamott so we’re they giving you 13k per semester, or did you have to pay 13k per semester? I know the tuition is over 50k, so
