2016 - 2017 USC Transfer

Hey guys, I got rejected as a freshman applicant and was looking to apply as a transfer next year. Any tips on this whole process and how to boost my admissions chances? Thank you!

Hey, I was just wondering is it possible to apply to USC again your junior year (3rd year in college)? I feel that I’m a good candidate except for my GPA, which is about a 3.5 ish, (3.64 after current semester) because of a couple of C’s I got in my first semester. I know you have to complete 2 years at USC to get a degree, but could another year of using non-Ge’s to bring my GPA help? I already did most of mine Ge’s for marshall business admin within my first couple of years at SMC (junior college).

@TrojanTransfer89 i think for most schools including USC the latest is applying sophmore year and becoming a jr transfer

There are credit limits when transferring into USC. Transfer students must complete a minimum of 64 units in residence at USC, or half the units typically required for graduation. Also, USC limits the transfer of credit in certain categories. You may transfer up to sixty-four (64) units (the other half of the 128) of credit from other institutions - for limited exceptions see transfer guide. So if you are wanting to transfer after soph year, yes, if after junior year, no. But it all depends on how many credits you have completed more than which year. Hope that makes sense. Good luck!

Did anyone here get accepted to USC Marshall with W’s?

I heard Kyle is super helpful. What’s his email?
