I just checked on yousc documents and the appeal admissions decision is back up there!!?? Does that mean they rejected me
@usctrojansucla I wouldn’t read into this! Who knows why these systems do what they do. Though I know the wait is torturous.
Mine is still missing the appeal option. It could just mean that they’ve reviewed your application and it just goes back up by default
Or it can mean literally nothing.
Where do you find the appeal admissions decision? Document library? It doesn’t show up there for me
has anyone gotten their decision for Dornsife? I applied to the English major in November and I’m anxiously awaiting my response!!
@ChicagoFIRED it was originally in the document library tab, but then they took it down and apparently it’s popping back up for some people
@brookecandy people have applied to Annenberg but got accepted into Dornsife as an undeclared major. So I don’t think decisions for people who applied straight into Dornsife are released yet. I applied into Dornsife too, so anxiously awaiting my decision as well
Does anyone know what missing an appeal option on youSC means?
Missing an appeal option doesn’t mean anything. Don’t jump to any conclusions.
When you guys say it’s in the document library tab, what do you mean? It shows that you’ve submitted an appeal? Interesting. I don’t remember people ever noticing something like that, so it must be new?
@zettasyntax just an option for you to submit an appeal to admission decision
would 4000 level and 5000 level course work be helpful to increase the chance to get in?
obviously just looking into this whole option to submit an appeal too much but idc. anyone who has been accepted, can you look and see if you are able to go to the document library, and if so, does it have the option to submit an appeal?
Hey guys- what I’m about to explain is my experience as a freshman undergraduate applicant last year. (Note: this had only applied to (some) freshman applicants for Fall 2015). But I remember that a few days before decisions came out (end of March), some people’s appeal option disappeared while the option remained for others, including me. A few days later, the people whose appeal option disappeared for were accepted while those (including me) whose appeal option stayed were rejected. But I’m not sure if this reflected everyone (or just happened to be for those that I observed), and plus, this was not for transfers. Don’t be discouraged as this may mean nothing.
Is the document library a tab where you can choose documents to submit? If that’s the case, I don’t really think it means anything either. I can no longer access that in terms of my application (I’m guessing since I’m already a student) but as a comparison, the financial aid documentary library lets you upload just about any document you could think of (even a bunch that I never had to submit), so yeah, that’s really nothing to stress about I’d say (especially since nobody seemed to notice it last year)
The option to submit an appeal has not reappeared in my document library. What does it all mean!
IT MEANS NOTHING. YOU GUYS ARE STRESSING FOR NO REASON.
@sofiaasingss Congrats! just a question,so you put your two majors as Annenberg then they accepted you into undeclared as dornsife? that’s awesome! I hope they do that for me too… lol I did the same thing of putting both majors as Annenberg, but now I’m thinking it wasn’t such a good idea. contemplating whether I should call and ask if they could change that on my app if they accepted you as undeclared does that mean you’re a sophomore transfer?
Hey does anybody else’s youSC portal not want to load for the check application status?
Has anyone seen error message when you log into youSC? I cannot log in youSC due to some system error message.
Can anyone else not check Financial Aid? It says “You have failed to authentication for this service.”
