2016 - 2017 USC Transfer

@notsohappygirl I remember that last year. I was also one of those students.

@victory1 I can get in but I cannot access anything, an error message pops up when I click, or it says I do not have “authentication” to access it.

Awhile ago the portal page did say that website will be down due to maintenance, so maybe that explains the error message that pops up

My portal is working now, but before it wasn’t

And as far as the missing the “appeal” option, it is still missing for me; I don’t think that means anything though

@John6311 yeah mines fine again, and I still don’t have that option either.

My portal was up and running again… and now my app status/submit documents are down again :frowning:

i have a feeling maintenance people are currently tinkering with the portal, because mine is being really wonky too.

I think my check application status / submit documents links led to error messages earlier, but they’re both fine now. I don’t think the changes in the portal really mean anything.

They were working on it early this morning but its up and running again.

I don’t believe I’ve ever seen the Appeal option in my record. I applied on February 1st. They got the last of my documents a month ago.

does anyone know anything about how USC sends acceptance letters? I’m waiting for my friend to get her decision  Personally, I think they would send them in ‘waves’ every two weeks. Bc once someone gets an acceptance letter, he/she has two weeks to decide to enroll or not. So, I don’t think they would send all of them at the same time, considering they probably don’t have space for every applicant given acceptance. I’ve seen ppl on this site getting their acceptances sporadically, pretty much unlike my ‘educated guess’. So if y’all know anything about that, please LMK!!

honestly that makes a lot of sense to me. so far the first people who heard back on here heard 2 weeks ago on the 1st. @js119999 guess we might have to wait another 2 weeks for the next wave

@js119999 You only get 2 weeks to accept or decline??

@thepinksun right? Thanks for your input! Hopefully she gets in!!

@iamthetopgun yeah. You get two weeks to decide after you get your acceptance letter.

@js119999 Just out of curiosity since you are accepted already, do you see the option to submit the Appeal document under the document library on you.usc?

@tinarose I just checked and I didn’t see anything. Though my memory isn’t the best, I’m pretty sure I did not see anything about submitting an appeal prior to my decision. I wouldn’t put too much emphasis on my previous statement but yeah, that’s what it seems like. But rest assured, I checked you.usc religiously. I think I went on at least once every 2-3 days, so maybe my memory isn’t as bad as I think it is. Haha sorry for all the ambiguity but I wouldnt take it as a bad sign! If anything, maybe the opposite? maybe you don’t have to send an appeals request Bc your decision is coming? I have no idea. But definitely better to think positively!! GL!!

is there anyone applying from mid west?

@anxiousmac Thanks! I don’t think you need to call because they will automatically place you as undeclared if you are not admitted into your first two choices. USC has to accept you and then the schools, so if you usc accepts you, you will be put in as undeclared. I am a sophomore transfer!

My friend got his acceptance letter a couple weeks ago (TTP) and it says you have 2 weeks or until June 1st to accept/decline the offer. So I guess if you receive your acceptance letter after May 17, you have 2 weeks to decide, but if you receive before that, you have until June 1st.

Does anyone know if we receive our financial aid package with our decision letter?
