@sddamiani wow…are we the same person? haha Im at SMC too! applied to Annenberg- comm major currently working as a digital producer for a magazine. Also a non-traditional student. I would say you have a great shot and i like to think that they don’t want to reject a non-traditional student with a great upward trend and a 4.0 . I got the email about the scholarship as well and i think its just based on your financial aid profile. GOOD LUCK!!
also…are we required to send official hs transcripts as transfer students??
@Mike2011 Yes, official HS transcript are required and part of the transfer application package! Here’s the link to the USC transfer page that stated all the required documents. http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/transfer/prospective/checklist.html

Yeah, I think the initial date corresponds to when you sent in your application. In the 2014 cycle, I submitted my application on January 30th and that was the date on my restrictions for the longest time. I tried to go back and check some of the pages and yup, access in and of itself means NOTHING because I was rejected that year
Has anyone received a SGR yet?
I am a junior applicant. I have a 3.79 gpa with 64 credits. The thing that worries me is that I changed my major quite a few times
Yeah I got an email requesting mines and I had already sent them in January. You can check to see what documents are missing in your you.usc portal. Annenberg is so hard and I heard they reply last so USC can admit us but we’d have to wait to see what Annenberg says. Good luck and thanks for the kind words. Stressed to max out here!!!

Where are the marshall applicants at?! Anyone hear anything?
@IBProspect123 marshall applicant here. tbh I’m not expecting to get accepted this year for fall even if they ask for a SGR. Getting spring admit for next year would be nice but I doubt that will happen. I’m a first year transfer student already in my second semester of college, so I’m not expecting much.
USC admissions posted a special message for transfer students on their social media recently. I’m assuming they are in the process of reviewing all applicants now 
“Transfer students: Check the status of your admission application at http://■■■■■■/1zcCq5A and watch your email for information about any documents we may still need from you.”

Does USC accept online classes? The GE class I’m taking next semester is only offered online so I’m not sure if I should take it.
@chjd22 I think I read that they don’t take any online classes

@mateenjan1 according to previous years’ threads they should start rolling out next week and from then on
@chjd22 USC does not accept online laboratory classes for instance chem lab or bio lab. USC does accept online classes that do not have a laboratory.
