@mochibbycake you got accepted already?
And congrats to those who have received their decision!!!
@brookecandy Yes, decisions are only sent through mail
@brookecandy They send SGRs out up until the end. When I applied in the 2014-2015 cycle, I got an SGR on May 22nd! I didn’t ultimately find out about my rejection until mid-July.
You would eventually see your decision on your portal a couple of days after having received your acceptance packet (or I suppose this year, acceptance box) The only time I’ve ever seen a decision show up on the portal before the mail is in the case of rejections. I received a rejection PDF on my portal weeks before I received the sad small white envelope saying I didn’t get in.
Decisions, as confirmed by USC reps themselves, are first delivered through mail and 1-3 days later the decisions also appears on your youSC portal
@tinarose congrats! That email was a good sign! Maybe all of us should be on a lookout for that haha!
Has anybody else gotten that email? And did other people who were just accepted get that email too?
@ohwiseone I received that e-mail on 2/11. I think it’s more meaningful if you receive it closer to June 1st, like tinarose.
Clarification here: I got two financial aid emails! One in February requesting for Parents tax documents. The email I got this morning was to ask for MY TAX RETURNS.
I’m not on the TTP , didn’t have any access to OASIS and don’t see the option to submit an appeal form within the You.usc document library.
What do you mean by that email lol. From financial aid? I got an email request ion additional information for my financial aid but that was two weeks ago and it was requesting student information and parent information. So is that what you’re referring
@tinarose Did your financial aid package come as well?
Oh okay I see!! Yeah same here I was requested my income tax but that was when my parents info was requested, too
Is it a good idea to send the admission people your spring grades even though a SGR wasn’t requested? My spring semester will end in two weeks, and I still haven’t received a SGR yet.
@John6311 I got accepted last year and current student at USC. ^^
I received quite a lot of emails regarding my financial aid, but I have a bit of a special financial situation
@tinarose Awesome, congratulations! Did anything change on your YouUSC portal?
As anyone who has received an SGR get the directions through mail yet?
I got it through the portal yeah
i got it on the 21st
I applied to Marshall! but yes i still have GEs to take
dude this semester ill have over 80 units completed! I have a 3.95 but i might get a B in calc 2 which they never even wanted so hopefully that doesn’t count.
