I do not have access to oasis, but do have access to housing. I also am a Marshall applicant and I have not received a SGR. No option to appeal on my portal.
Okay, maybe though who have receive an SGR are not able to access the housing portal cause their application is still in review.
@john6311 I logged into the housing app with my usc ID and a numerical password that they provided me after I registered. I think that anybody who was issued an ID # can do this, so I don’t think it’s really an indication of your admission decision. I do not have access to Oasis nor have the “submit to appeal” option in my doc library, I used to have it but about 3 weeks ago it disappeared. Soph year applicant + Dornsife + non TTP for those who are wondering.
So housing access = accepted ?
@IBProspect123 did you log into housing with your USC ID and mmddyy password?
@badmintongirl do you have an SGR?
@John6311 No I did not receive a SGR
Okay so maybe that explains why you guys are able to access the housing portal and I am not. I was really nervous as to why I couldn’t login, but I thought about it and calmed down, lol. Since, I have received an SGR my application is still in review.
Since you guys do not have an SGR and can access the housing portal, and do not have the submit to appeal option on your portal then you guys are probably getting your decision really soon! Good luck to y’all!!
On the other hand, maybe @zettasyntax can talk about this since he or she has the most experience by going through this twice.
I logged into housing by clicking “register” --> then filling out some small application that included my name/birthday/USCid --> received a password to use to log in with.
@IBProspect123 Looks like we are both on the same boat, no Oasis access, no appeal option, & we both registered on the housing application with a numerical password. Difference is you are a Marshall applicant
@John6311 Have you tried clicking on register on the housing online app? Because it seems like that’s what most people have tried doing
Where do you see the ‘register’ option? On housing.usc.edu I only see the “Apply Now” option at the bottom of the page. Is that what you guys are talking about? I’m also applying as an entering sophomore and will be living off campus if that has any influence
I also have access to the housing app. no access to oasis.
@alexk97 housing.usc.edu -> application & assignment -> online application -> “register” should be on the right
Is everyone able to register and get into the portal? Or could that be some kind of indication if you are able to?
Can transfers apply for or live freshman dorms? there are 2 freshman residence halls that are reallyyy nice lol
@badmintongirl thanks! after doing that I also have access to the housing… not sure it means anything though. i don’t think i have access to oasis (or at least i can’t figure out how it works), and no appeal option/never had an appeal option, no SGR (sent in winter grades though because i’m on a quarter system)
My friend told me that if I get accepted to live in Troy Hall, Troy East, or Severance Street Apts
I have access to the housing application when I press ‘register’. From doing this made me realize that having access to it, really means nothing, because my choosing the register button can allow anyone access honestly.
I don’t have access to the housing website. My husband does and the application fee is $45. The website also states that family housing is full for the school year.
@hitherto do you have a SGR r
