@topchoiceschool calc :-S
Any accepted students receive their financial aid info yet? And if so how long after the letter came/portal changed? Thanks.
As I mentioned before, my restrictions changed yesterday, but no STARS report or anything filled out yet… I’m freaking out.
@MPccTS I got my financial aid info about four days after my acceptance.
@AIS562 Did you already get an SGR? It could be an SGR if you haven’t already gotten one. I think after 2 days and no STARS update it meant an SGR or rejection, but I think it’s far too early in the game for rejections. USC likes to save those for the very end, going by the patterns of previous years.

This is everything the SGR expedited ways to submit your spring grades states. If your sons school doesn’t allow electronic copies being sent to another receipt then have it be sent to the same one?( if it’s USC associated ofcourse) if anything,just have them send the transcripts through mail, or maybe fax, if you’re trying to find the fastest way possible. My school literally sent the transcripts as soon as I requested them, which is their job, so I was happy with that and USC just received my transcripts as my portal was updated. These ways have already been stated before, and are the EXACT ways your son could have submitted his fall semester grades. It’s really nothing new. Hope this helps
@zettasyntax I got an “unofficial” SGR, where they just said they needed additional documents from me to process my application. The “additional documents” were my transcripts from UCSB.
Also, I have no appeal document on you.sc.
Thanks. Of course his school sends them various ways like all schools. Does USC specify a way for the school to send electronically - email to where? Didn’t see that above. (And obviously if the student uploads it isn’t official/sealed from the university, correct?) TIA.
@jazzshreddermom electronically, was the first one where it said “click on…” No e-mail, I don’t think they would want a transcript sent through e-mail. How did your send request to have them be sent for Fall?
And correct to your last statement, I was unsure about that, too. But since in parentheses it states sent electronically from your school maybe they have a system where a school can send a transcript electronically, without the portal maybe? I’m not sure on that. But your best bet is just to have his school send them like how they originally would.
They do, but it asks for an email and sends a protected file. (Other schools accept this, btw.) He had his university send the Fall ones by mail. Just wanted to do it faster this time (he sent to a different overnight address than the one above; one that’s given on the transfer page. How weird that they don’t match).
So the “click on” one is just the student self upload? Weird that they mention the school sending electronically but don’t say to where. Thanks.
^ I don’t get why it’s such an issue. Just go to the campus admissions center and pay a small fee to have them send over the transcript to the schools that you want them sent over. You can pay extra if you want a 1-2 day ship or pay the normal fee for 1-2 week ship.
@jazzshreddermom yeah it is weird, cause they didn’t specify how the school can send the transcripts electronically. But whatever you guys want to do
He’s here, finished with freshman year (at work all day), school is across the country. Just wanted to find a way for immediate sending. Thanks.
@jazzshreddermom is your son on TTP?
@topchoiceschool retweet.
If your sons school is across the country them maybe having your son fax the transcripts is the best way?
And if your question still isn’t answered then calling USC is your best option
yes, he is TTP. And he just called and got the email for electronically sending officially from the current school. admscan@usc.edu if anyone else wants to know. Sorry to drive you all crazy.
@AIS562 Are you sure that is a spring grade request? I’ve had that thing under my tab for a month about and nobody has contacted me for Spring grades.
can somebody share the link to Oasis? thanks
