@goldenlily There should be two STARS links. One called “STARS Report” and the other “STARS Interactive Audit Report”. They both basically serve the same purpose (tell you what you have done/what needs to be completed before earning your degree), so if it is actually filled out after a restrictions change, this is why you can 100% relax in knowing that you have been admitted (and really you find out like the next day anyway). Prior to that, both of them are pretty much blank (as they should be since you’re not a student quite yet). The one people like to look at is the STARS Interactive Audit Report because it has a little pie chart and bar graph that get filled up once you’re admitted. However, this is the one that people sometimes can’t even see (like I checked right now on Chrome and it doesn’t load the page unless I click on “load unsafe scripts”); it’s really weird, but not everybody has this problem. I would upload a picture, but I’m not sure how to do that on here.
Has anyone heard from dornsife yet? I applied to narrative studies as #1 and undecided as #2…very anxious especially with exams right now!
Still waiting to hear from Dornsife… I applied to the English major with 47 credits completed, pretty much all of my GE’s completed except maybe one class. My GPA is on the lower side due to some health/financial issues during the fall semester, however my grades before were great and my grades after the fall semester were great. I’m a low income, first generation college student too. No SGR, but I did get a lot of emails from financial aid.
@brookecandy May I ask your GPA and current school if you don’t mind?
@victory1 sure! I was attending Whittier College and decided to take the spring semester off after my winter class for my health. My current GPA is a 3.0, I don’t have any F’s, W’s, or D’s on my record but the fall semester hit my gpa pretty hard. I bounced back with a 4.0 in my winter session. I wrote a personal statement about it so I’m hoping they can see my performance before/after and overall stats/stats in my major.
@brookecandy I think you still have the huge chance of getting in because your health issues sound perfectly reasonable to explain your GPA!
@victory1 thank you!!! I’m trying to stay confident! looking at past year’s threads, I’ve seen lots of people with 3.2 or below GPAs, even below 3.0, getting in, so I’m just staying positive
@brookecandy I recently emailed my academic counselor, and it seems he is not working for the admission office anymore…do you know if other counselor would take over his local applicants when someone stops working for the admission office?? I am pretty worried that no one would take care of my application becuase my local counselor quits his job…
@manueales Congrats! Thanks for posting your stats, are you entering as a Junior or Sophomore? Also before you got accepted did you have access to OASIS, or have an option for the appeal decision in your portal? Or did you have access to the USC housing page before you got accepted?
@victory1 I’m sure someone else has to be taking care of your application, I would call USC admissions and tell them so they can let you know who your new counselor is!
Still waiting to hear back from Marshall. Most likely i will get a SGR since i am currently working on Calculus waiting game suck.
@ivy2018 me too! I am sick of waiting. I finished all my pre reqs so hopefully I don’t get one if I get accepted.
Been checking this thread religiously and just signed up since I have now received my acceptance letter in the mail! So excited to transfer this fall and good luck to everyone waiting to hear back. The wait is brutal!
Does anyone know if I am able to submit my enrollment deposit right away or do I have to wait until the youSC website updates?
@MickeyEars Congrats! Do you mind sharing your stats? Oh and I’m not of much help to answer your question, sorry.
@MickeyEars I think you have to wait until the portal updates. I’m not sure if there’s a way to send in a deposit other than by clicking the link in the updated portal.
No access to housing even now that I was accepted. But! I read around one the past years posts and I’m pretty sure its been figured out before. I had access to Oasis and my STARS report was filled out with my major and two days later I got my package! That seems to be the usual process from what I’ve seen.
@LACCryan thank you! And that’s okay, I’m not seeing anything on there that would let me so I probably have to wait lol
@qwality2953 thanks, I’ll be waiting then!

Can someone kindly explain what USC:OASIS is and who exactly can and cannot use it? I have never seen OASIS talked about any other thread related to USC.
^read from two pages ago. Someone already explained what Oasis is
Congrats to the new people who have been accepted!
