My d just checked her OU portal and didn’t see anything under the FA tab. She hasn’t submitted FSAS and won’t qualify for need based aid so maybe that’s why?
@MaryMomMN - Sorry, I misunderstood my son’s brief text. He was at his after school activity and ran into the GC who submitted the NMSF applications for our school. He told my S that he will receive something in the mail soon. Just a lucky coincidence!
@3scoutsmom she found it on the Financial award part of O-zone - it does reflect that we submitted FAFSA though the EFC > COA.

@bmolloy97 nothing in this part of TN-- but then again, we are on our 3rd snowday!
In northwest FL here and lots of nailbiting happening. DS had amazing SATs (800 V, 70 math), 5s and 4s in 7 AP classes, GPA of 3.6 UW/4.2 W, lots of ECs, but got a rejection letter in Jan because of a D in a semester of freshman drama (he is NOT a performer). We dd not know about the D being an automatic rejection flag! Called NM who advised him to appeal after discussion of background (first year HS was in UK). Local HS looked at transfer transcript again and were able to change it to a year-end grade version, which pulled that to a C. GC also included a note saying they thought it should hold less weight because it was a noncore class. Praying it was enough, but who knows?
Nothing yet in Central Florida. Called the guidance counselor yesterday, but she hadn’t received it. We moved to Florida from Indiana, and all of the other nominees from her former school made finalist. Congrats to her Lake Central friends!

Just heard from HS Principal this morning that my son IS a finalist! Whew! Relief and exciting. Good thoughts for everyone waiting.
