Got word in GA today? 
My daughter had to ask her college counselor, she was not sure how long that she had had the letter.
i’m in central FL as well but went to my guidance counselor this morning and she told me she hadn’t received anything and that the school would be notified after I received my notification?? maybe it’ll come in the mail today.
@emedylinaira Check with the principal. The letter didn’t go to our guidance counselor - straight to the principal’s office.
Just got official word from headmaster in Memphis, TN. DS is a finalist! Thanks for your support, information, and encouragement.
No news in RI
Got word in NW Florida - DS didn’t get it, other 3 did. But he has not heard negative result frojm appeal yet so it could still happen. Not all hope lost yet.
@cosplaymom thanks for the response! Turns out the mail came in today and I was called down to get my certificate just an hour ago. I don’t think any of the semifinalists at my school didn’t make finalist.
One of my twins got the rejection letter a couple weeks ago. The other one hasn’t heard anything yet. So its good and its bad. His grades were his downfall - I was afraid it would happen this way.
No word yet from D’s school in CA. I was just there this morning for a meeting and asked both an assistant principal and D’s counselor if they’d heard anything yet and neither had. But hopefully we’ll hear either later today or tomorrow.
@GnocchiB The University of Houston offers a great scholarship package to NMS finalists. It is one of the most generous schools in the nation, and it’s just up the street from Rice.
No news in Texas yet. We are a smaller post office so I wonder if it takes longer to get here. I haven’t called the school yet; just waiting to let them announce it their way, or see if ours will come in the mail. I might quit being so patient by tomorrow and call the school.

My D got her NMF certificate today in MN at her school
My DS received word from his GC that he has made finalist as well! Thank God! Praying for good news for all!
