2016 SAT Score Reports and Score Sends

I took the new SAT for the first time on October 1st and scored a 1520/1600 (790 on Reading and Writing and 730 on Math) and an 8 6 7 on the essay. I had two questions:

  1. Will the colleges I apply to know that my score is out of 1600? This seems silly; however, my school district entered my scores on the 2400 scale; I guess anything's possible.
  2. I've sent my scores to 5 large universities (including UCLA and USC) and was wondering if I should expect any sort of correspondence. This is because after scoring in the 99th percentile on the PSAT, my inbox was flooded with college mail; however, I haven't been receiving much at all for my SAT.

  2. Depends on the school. Most colleges do the vast majority of their email blasts/mailings based on PSAT's. IME, I got little from any schools I sent SAT's
