@penntousc yeah USC only requires calc 1 or business calc. I took business calc last semester but am taking calc 1 right now cause Michigan doesn’t accept business calc lol it’s really repetitive but better to be safe than sorry I guess

Do you guys know if USC will notice that I took calc 2 and got in A even though it’s not required for Marshall. It’s because I got a c in calc 1 due to a personal reason that I explained in my essay and I don’t want that to hinder my chances. Thanks for any feedback guys
@uscdream19 it really helps that you went from getting a C in calc 1 to an A in calc 2. They will definitely notice. Great Job!

@delzzz321 Ohh where are you from? @bugajskj Yeah I’m from the Milwaukee area originally, but I decided to move farther north for school (spoiler - it was a bad decision…it’s even colder lol)
@cassidylynnn Yeah, well this is California…the land of the superficial. There are a lot of people that pick a major just to get in. But UCLA does not have a business program so it creates a log jam of people wanting to take econ.

@delzzz321 yeah a lot of my friends go to Madison. It’s definitely the best in WI but I totally get why you’d want to get back home!
@bugajskj yeah that makes sense. I feel like if they had a business school, it would be less difficult to get into Econ cause at USC and at a lot of other schools, so many people are trying to get into the business school, and as a result, Econ isn’t nearly competitive at those schools as it is as UCLA
