My question is to Marshal applicants. I know some of you got accepted to UCLA also. Why would you prefer to go to USC instead of UCLA? What are your pros and cons? I still can not decide… Thank you in advance for your replies…

@masechka1988 that’s going to be something I’m going to have to decide over the next few weeks.
UCLA- I love the school but I just dislike that we are “pre” biz Econ. Like I’m not planning to screw up when I get there, but the fact that there’s a chance at all that we might not get into the major if we don’t get a 3.5 in the remaining lower div classes is making me not be 100% into the idea. Also since there’s no business school for undergrads, it’s mostly economics based which is meh to me.
USC- Trojan connection, actual business school, semester system and options for accounting is great. Obviously, the cost of going is what scares most people away. Also the housing situation for transfers is a MESS

My application status page changed. No longer has a long paragraph about notifiying by June 1st, will email if any necessary documents are needed, etc.
Just says "We have received your Common Application and USC Writing Supplement. To find out if we need more information from you, please click on the “Submit application documents” link. You will be able to submit any requested documents through the Required Documents tab. "
@OCCtoUSC Maybe SGR? My paragraph says the same thing about June 1st still.
@Wafflepiezz I sure hope not. I’m only taking two classes and they are unrelated to my major/GE. There nothing under Required Documents.
As someone who is currently away from home for school, I only hope that I get a decision one way or another any day now, especially for my mom’s sake. I think she’s tired of me asking her to check the mail so much.
