Hey, wasn’t somebody on this forum interested in sports media? Just curious because I got an email from my advisor about a brand new Annenberg minor called Sports Media Industries, so just a little note if that interests anybody 
(not that hearing about a new minor makes the wait any easier or anything; I just thought it was cool).
@cc2LAuniversity I don’t think they go based on when you submitted at all. The first time I applied, I waited until January 31st to apply and I got my SGR around April 20ish. I applied way earlier the next year and heard nothing until June 6th. Might have to do with your counselor or other factors.

Thank you guys!!! I love the support from this thread! It really feels like we’re already part of the Trojan Family! No matter what decisions you all get, just know that everyone will be supporting you. Despite being given a sgr and rejection last year in Mid-July, I knew that being consistent, putting in the hard effort, and trying harder again next year will lead to my acceptance!

@cc2LAuniversity the time you submitted your application doesn’t impact when you received your decision. My friend submitted his app. in Dec for marshall, I submitted mine last week before the deadline and we both hear back today.

I applied to Political Science at USC. How are majors looked at when applying at USC? Is my major a hard major to get into? Is there percentiles within the major? Or are Dornsife majors measured on a Dornsife average GPA? Answers would be greatly appreciated.

I honestly hope they get me in as my alt major as poli sci so I don’t have to wait a long ass time for annenberg but I feel like they won’t give me enough aid like la so idk if I should commit or not UGH
