2017 - 2018 USC Transfer

@usctransferivc LOOOOOOL

@usctransferivc you are TERRIBLE LMAO

@usctransferivc that’s unbelievably cruel, I hadn’t heard anything either so I had a real bad feeling… congrats though! That’s crazy, April 28th? Lol that took forever to get there

@usctransferivc WTF!! dont do that!

@usctransferivc did you get a large white envelope or was it in a big box?

@HarvardJones I see. I’ve also been very worried because I’m currently not taking spring semester as Im doing internship (part of the school’s curriculum). I just reached out to my councelor earlier and she mentions that “we prefer students who are taking full time courseload.” Will this also affect my chances of getting in?

Okay jk I kid again. Still waiting. No SGR. No denial. No acceptance. This wait is literally making me a psycho!!! I don’t know what is wrong with me at this point :slight_smile: I apologize for my actions lol.

@tankle104 I also got that email. I wrote a letter and submitted it the same day (Saturday). It has already been processed and my counselor said my application is now complete.

i can feel you guys’ anxiety right now. this is so gonna be me next year…

@usctransferivc Alright someone ban this guy… jk but seriously u suck lol

@usctransferivc so what did you get in the mail??

@pomeranian4rich I am hoping for a SGR but at the same time I am scared of getting a SGR because I am taking 4 classes and I have a feeling I may end with 2 A’s and 2 B’s. BUT the A’s will hopefully be in my two business classes and the B’s will be in gen eds. It really may be 3A’s and 1 B.

Hey guys, I’ve been stalking this thread for a while now and finally made an account so I could become a part of the conversation! I read a while back that we are required to have a rec letter from someone at our current university? Is that true? I’m pretty sure mine were still the few I had from high school and now I’m worried :frowning:

@uscdream19 LOL I’m seriously going crazy!!!

@osu2usc nah don’t worry about rec letters if you have a 3.9+ GPA. they prioritize GPA over everything

Yes, It needs to be a rec letter from your current university. Maybe email your counselor and see if you can submit another rec letter… @osu2usc

Did anyone on this forum get into Marshall today?

@osu2usc Okay, I’m editing my reply bc I don’t want to spread misinformation. I’ll let someone else on the forum chime in. :slight_smile:

Yes, It needs to be a rec letter from your current university. Maybe email your counselor and see if you can submit another rec letter… @osu2usc … might be for some majors though not sure. Annenberg requires a letter of rec

@HarvardJones Okay, but that’s not true though? GPA is important, but the number of GE’s you have completed is also important. It doesn’t matter if you have a 4.0 and nothing you’ve taken can transfer.
