Hey guys! I logged into my portal today to check my application status and my financial aid. They’re requesting financial information that they have never requested up until now. I am wondering if anyone is in the same boat, and why they would decide to request information all of a sudden.

The letter was dated May 2nd. I live like an hour away from Los Angeles/ USC? I can’t think right now.

@osu2usc I as well got that signature request. I am hoping that is a good thing since every small request that makes is a sign of action with our apps at least. I emailed someone right now asking how to properly upload the form and what the form means. So when I get a reply I will let yah know !
@Amaryllis85 about how soon before you found out you were accepted did you receive a request for more financial information?
@penntousc I will have around 84 units by the end of this spring semester! I was in CC for three years, because I decided I didn’t want to go to transfer yet. So, junior applicant!

@jonathaanv I just saw that video about housing that you posted, so it looks like transfers aren’t getting on campus housing lol. I can’t believe they’re adding to graduate housing, and still doing nothing for transfers… Those in graduate school have already went through their 4 years, some of which was spent on a campus somewhere, so how the hell can they rationalize prioritizing on campus housing for graduate students instead of transfer students??? Lol based on what they’re doing this year, it seems like it could be worse for transfers than it ever has been… certainly hope I get in soon if I get in, wouldn’t wanna commute 30+ minutes to campus every day
@Amaryllis85 congrats on your acceptance ! what was asked from you in your financial aid section of the portal before? Did you see that when you logged on or did they email you you were missing something.

Hi everyone! I have a question about SGR. I will not have access to my official spring transcript until around May 24. I f
I can submit this transcript immediately on receiving it, do I still need to expect to hear me decision at mid July? I am a little nervous about this issue since I have to wait USC’s decision to decide which school I want to transfer in.
@penntousc yeah it’s stupid. I’m reading over the booklet included in my acceptance package and it says that we are allowed to apply starting June 30 like WTF??? Everything will be gone by then.

"Due to high demand, housing for transfer students is limited. Assignments are made based on the application date, so transfer students are encouraged to apply for housing as soon as possible. Housing applications for transfer students will be available beginning June 30, 2017. We recommend admitted transfers explore other housing options as well. "
Basically a huge F. U. to all of us who want to live on campus.
