@alienman1234 Aren’t you Viterbi as well? Praying for the best.
@itslife123 yeah dude.
I dont think it means anything. I feel it’s just a generic response. Let’s hope I’m wrong though.
Yes that’s it.
Thanks for the info, much appreciated!
@jjcc77 yeah, I don’t think it means anything either, but let’s hope the both of us are wrong about it. I submitted my additional documents on Monday morning, so assuming it takes roughly 3-5 (give or take a few days), I should see my financial aid statement by next Monday.
Hi everyone! I had my financial aid updated requesting a “Family Member Listing Signature(s) - Parent”.
Did anyone else get this update? Does this mean anything? I’d love to hear your thoughts
@ngujo96 Thing is I didn’t submit anything recently. The last time I updated additional info was about a month ago.
@SmokedHam I got that to along with another person on the thread got it! I think it means something good since its asking for additional info. And someone said the lady on the phone inferred that accepted students generally get request for additional info that is not the usual tax forms and ect. that is asked right when you apply back in feb.
Hope everything is going well for all of you
I’m an incoming sophomore transfer coming from UCSC with a 3.95 GPA
I just got an SGR… pretty bummed that I’ll have to wait longer for my decision but what do you guys think?
Is an SGR a good sign? Or do they just do that for all sophomore applicants?
@angeleno13 I caught up on you talking about that earlier. I was thinking the same thing. I hope we hear back soon. From what I have seen, people hear something and get accepted the same weekend. ahh!! let’s hope for good news soon
@itslife123 oh that’s interesting! hopefully you’ll hear back soon.
@SmokedHam & @angeleno13 – I got that as well, if that case is true, hopefully it’ll mean good news!
@jonathaanv hey just curious, which cc do you go to? Since I’m from norcal too
@zettasyntax yup! I did apply last year.
@tc20498 Have you heard anything back yet from SCA??
Is it bad that i haven’t gotten at least an sgr yet? Or am I thinking to much. USC wants to give poor ol me a panic attack.
,
@Mikeysky96 sadly, no haven’t even gotten an SGR yet!! the last time they contacted me was for a missing document back in mid-march… i think it’s going to take a while for us because of all the additional supplements. i’ll comment and tag you if i get anything soon!!
@osu2usc I heard SCA applicants that receive SGR’s are usually late may/ June 1st
@rawrrxboo Napa Valley College. We have no articulation agreement with USC so I had to jump through hoops in order to make sure I would be able to transfer. Two trips down to LA to visit USC later and here I am!
@tc20498 I’ll do the same! I have a friend that transferred into SCA and did not receive an SGR until June 1st, but I heard they do interview a select few. I’m pretty surprised with how few SCA applicants are on these forums compared to last year, especially considering how popular the program is
