@uscbabe1 I hope we hear back soon. I seriously cannot focus on anything else. This wait is killing my confidence!
@gatsby22 Sure! I forgot what major I applied to last time, but I’m applying for Communications now. GPA between two CCs with ~60 credits is 4.0. Depending on what USC accepts from my other schools (one out-of-state and one out-of-country), my GPA would probably be about 3.9. No articulation agreements for the classes I took from those two. Not sure about USC’s GE requirements but I have both IGETC and CSU GE done + 3 AA degrees (Comm, Humanities, Social and Behavioral Science).
ECs: volunteer work, FT work (Senior Finance Analyst), some experience in Comm
I think my problem would mostly be schooling schedule. I think there are some quarters where I wasn’t enrolled in school full-time because of lack of classes. What are your stats?
@jonathaanv Hey ! I just got a package notif using what you said on usps, I was wondering where your package said it was coming from
Anyone who got a wgr hear back from admissions or financial aid yet? I got my request April 21st and they received my transcript a few days after.
My portal updated after I submitted the signature form last night, now it says 3-5 days for aid summary. Not sure what that means?
@angeleno13 ARRIVED USPS FACILITY 5/02/2017 9:09pm LOS ANGELES CA 90052
That’s the first text I got.
@Skepta I also recall that even when my OASIS STARS thing filled out eons ago, it was at around 2AM. Everything is probably automated to update around that time.
@angelano13 I got it too and I didn’t submit anything recently. I’d give it a 10% chance that It means something, but nothing more.
@jonathaanv jk it’s for something else whoops thank you !
@itslife123 I was told that that means financial aid is going to be updated and that they only do it for admitted students ( this is through a fellow usc friend), but not sure
If I get in, I’ll be entering as a sophomore. Since USC guranteees housing to first and second years, does this mean that I would get housing? Or is it different for transfers? Also, would this increase my odds of being put into transfer housing do you think?
@angeleno13 If that’s the case I’m hoping for the best.
Excluding sundays, today i have a 4% chance of getting a package. XD
@UCtoUSC no, they mean sophomores who began as freshman at USC. you’re still a transfer and not guaranteed housing
@angeleno13 how’d you set up text notifications? I created an account and have MyUSPS now but don’t know how to set that up
@penntousc click on package preferences and add your cell phone number and voila
@sabkam still nothing?
@SmokedHam Are you sure? Online it just says that if you’re a sophomore, you get housing. I feel like it wouldn’t matter whether you were there freshman year or not
@UCtoUSC yes, I’m sure because you would be a transfer student. you can call and check if you don’t believe me LOL
lol the site isn’t letting me click on the confirm button for text notifications so I guess I’ll just have to wait it out
