Junior applicant, I haven’t heard anything back, but I received a request for additional information for my financial aid
@mellyjune I was looking on another thread and this person was talking about how they got rejected from USC, and they were a transfer applicant. But if that’s the case, I’m scared!
@ngujo96 I also received a request for extra info for financial aid but that was probably about two months ago and ever since it’s been saying that it’s in review
@Shagunbali well very few people have gotten rejected early in the past, but those were mainly applicants who had some bigger issues in their application, like they didn’t have any of the required courses done, had really low grades, problematic essays or other issues with their applications.
Most likely, rejections for those who had at least the bare requirements done won’t come in the mail until the end of this month
@moncc44, this is definitely reassuring lol. has your description for your financial aid say something about your summary being processed within 3-5 days for two months then?
@ngujo96 they only changed the message a few weeks ago. I think they did that because saying that transfers would get their finaid summaries early may was misleading, but i mean the 3-5 days thing is also misleading so I don’t know… they even have a typo in the current message haha
