@Aurora7 Yea that would have been better to do considering if you’re in Viterbi you can choose any major in Viterbi. But I’m sure you will be fine, they still can accept you undeclared even if you don’t get into Viterbi. So you’ll have options then too.
lol I had a nightmare last night that I listed the wrong major and woke up to check on the common app, thankfully it was the right one.
@itslife123 yeah I kinda made a mistake and chose two different CS majors, but I’m still hopping for the best. Do you know when does viterbi begin to release decision?
@xtx237 yes you can double major, but first you have to enroll in your first and then declare a second major, probably for second semester
@Aurora7 I can’t say for sure because USC releases in batches, but I reckon they will start 5/23 onwards 100%.
@itslife123 ah… 5/23 seems too far…lol can’t wait no more
I was not anxious at all until the very end. The closer to 5/31 we get, the more nervous I seem to be.
you need 48 to transfer into film and I want to apply for sophomore year so i should apply for both game designs then take up film the next semester?(im applying for fall 2018 btw)
@xtx237 you can either apply for game design and after getting accepted and enrolling in classes, declare film as second major, or, you can do it the other way around, which means apply for film and then declare game for second major.
The difference is, you should choose which major you want to put as your first major in your application, and make sure that you meet its requirements. If you have a good portfolio in cinema, apply for film, if you have good portfolio for game and game design, then choose game design as your first major.
Is there still nothing on Annenberg yet?! I feel like in the past people already heard back by now…
@juliamay2020 when they asked for my rec letter they said to send it by May 8, sooo my theory is they’ll start reviewing apps this week.
@jae2017 Dang I hope that’s true. I literally have heard nothing since January and I’m going nuts
@jae2017 What school did you apply to?
.
@ juliamay2020 haven’t heard anything from anyone in annenberg…
So I read somewhere on here that USC does not read letters of rec. Is this true? If so, that would really suck because I work super hard to get a USC professor to write a Letter of rec
Has anyone been spammed by USC with an orientation invite email? I think there’s a glitch, since 12am for every hour, I have received the same email inviting me to activate USC net ID and choose an orientation date. I’ve received 16 of the same emails in one day
@SMCSociology It depends on the school.
@dvalenc7 can’t relate
@izrobins Annenberg!
