Does anyone know how the review process is for sca applicants? Does our regional counselor oversee our app then send it over to our major at sca? I know there’s a lot of info so far on marshall and dornsife so far on here. So I would just love to know more if anyone has any info. Thank you so much !

@angeleno13 SCA reviews the applicants themselves. My admission counselor said that the SCA process generally isn’t known and that even some admission counselors don’t know the specifics of what SCA does. Which is why SCA, supposedly, has a lower average GPA then some of the other schools.
Is anyone’s counselor Angelica Gutierrez ? And if so have you heard anything from USC?
@usc2563 thank you so much for your reply and help ! I have my fingers crossed I think my portfolio for MAP was very strong. Hopefully SCA starts to release acceptances soon !

@shangunbali @tc20498 they usually reply within a few days, give it like 5 business days. If they haven’t by then I would call them.
@Amaryllis85 that’s weird. For me it would normally clear immediately after submitting it

I just got an email from USC asking for my current unofficial transcript to see if I have dropped out of any classes this semester. Is this email a good thing, or does everyone get an email like this? Sorry if you guys have talked about this before - I haven’t been keeping up
@Shagunbali She’s my counselor. She emailed me last Wednesday with a question about my application. She responded within minutes then. But she usually takes around 1-2 days to respond to my other emails.

@uclatft Did they say in the email it was to check if you dropped any classes? That’s kinda odd but kinda seems like a good sign to me
