@usc2563 It looks almost the same except the URL is different and there’s a link to submit mid-year grades. There are also no more links for transfers

@bradthegrad2019 Yeah a lot of people got it. It was sent to minorities and first gen students, it seems like. It’s not indicative of anything.

I got my SGR on May 6th I graduate May 19th. How long does it usually take to say if you got in or not once you send your spring grades?
@lilego69 looking back on the previous years threads it seems like it could be a week, month, or two months later! Hopefully everything works out for you, the admissions office is very busy right now, but if you really feel antsy maybe after june 1 if you haven’t heard back email your regional counselor.

Just scrolled through the 2016-2017 USC Transfer thread. For my Annenberg applicants out there…
Seems like the earliest acceptance was May 19th, received package May 22nd. Only one person.
Then, a couple of SGRs at around May 24th.
Then a lot didn’t hear back until June 10th.
And the last ones were somewhere mid-July.
I guess there’s a long wait ahead of us. Lol.

I’ve heard that decisions only come out on Thursday’s and Friday’s. Anyone know if that is true?
@uscdream19 thats when most of the packages arrive for people which is towards the end of the week, but you can never trust usps. As for portals that can be anytime of the week !
@uscdream19 That’s a good question. My acceptance letter was dated Friday June 5th, but I got it in the mail the next day (Saturday June 6th). Interesting. Maybe the letters could be dated Thursday or Friday, but as @Angeleno23 says, you could find out about it on pretty much any day if your portal updates before you actually receive the letter.
