@dhsalazar98 I called them this afternoon and the lady said she’d ask the tech department about it. I also sent an email to our admission counselor. Not expecting a response for a few days.

I hate that so many people are already doing finals. What’s it like to not be in school until the middle of June?
I feel like this thread is more active than last year’s but there are less decisions posted… There were so many Marshall acceptances in the 2016-17 thread by this time around but I haven’t seen as many here
@nayu917 its weird though, because last year’s threads, people stopped posting decisions around this time too and not that many people posted they got in. I made the mistake of stalking past threads last night and totally psyched myself out that I haven’t heard anything back yet. I’m seriously so nervous right now… but I’m more sensitive because i have finals. I have 6 papers due and 5 finals in the span of a week so I’m super stressed. so @usc2563 while its nice to have june off… right now is not a good time for me…
@mellyjune The latest Marshall acceptance that I saw was around the week of the 20th. The rest were all SGR decisions or appeals… My finals aren’t until the end of May. I actually want all my papers and finals to be earlier so that it keeps my mind off of USC. I have 2 more weeks of anxiety left
My finals are over… now I should desperately wait for Viterbi to start releasing decisions…

Whats the likelihood that a person gets accepted if they were requested an SGR as a sophomore applicant. Im expecting majority A’s and maybe 1 or 2 B’s for my spring semester.
@nayu917 well, decisions for Marshall still seem to be the most well-documented as opposed to other schools. Like Dornsife usually has updates towards the beginning and then it trickles off and there aren’t as many to be seen, Viterbi/Annenburg/SCA obviously don’t come out until later…
Also a lot of the latter Marshall posts, and just acceptances in general, were from people who had gotten their SGRs late april/early may, not people who just didn’t hear back until mid/late may with straight up acceptances…
I’m Dornsife. TTP. Met all requirements. Haven’t heard a thing (except for email from counselor thanking me for update on Monday when she got my spring transcript)
@Aurora7 seriously though, take comfort in the fact the Viterbi hasn’t released any decisions yet because its so much worse when you see people hearing back from the school AND major you applied to while you have heard nothing back. Its stressing me out, in addition to waiting… I know its not much, but take comfort from my pain hahaha at least you don’t quite have to worry as much about not hearing back yet
(and yes I know its still early to worry, I’m just saying its not an easy thing to handle when your brain starts freaking out that you haven’t heard anything while others in the same school/major have gotten in, its just stressful… especially more so since I have so much going on)
@witcher3435 we should be hearing back soon! And since you’re a TTP, as long as you meet the bare requirements, you really don’t have to worry that much!
I just logged on and apperently for financial aid they are requesting my parent’s w2s. Anyone else? Not sure what this means.

@tayloralext My acceptance letter was dated April 29th, and I still don’t have financial aid information. I called and they said most transfers don’t get theirs until 3rd week in May, and I told them on this board, most people got theirs either shortly before or after their acceptance. So why does it say you get it 3-5 business days after all required documents have been received. Mine has been saying that for many weeks, and the person even said they had all the documents needed. He said “Yours is in the queue” and they have to “package yours up” – whatever that means. I asked so can you tell me where I am in the queue or tell me about how long it will be before I get it, and he said “No, I’m sorry, I can’t tell you that. Is there anything else I can help you with?” He was very nice, but that doesn’t help much with the wait.
