2017 - 2018 USC Transfer

Is anyone else having a rough Spring Semester? Yikes :’(

@itslife123 One of my professor’s won’t even tell me what my grade is so I’m not sure if it is a high C or a low B.
So yeah, bad spring.

Anyone hear gospel by rich chigga and xxx? It’s so lit.

I love how @Skepta is done with USC admissions at this point.

@itslife123 YES. I feel like the stress of this whole transfer process is making it difficult to do well in school

@arteest1 It’s kind of like Multi-tasking lol. The only the thing that gets me going, is imagining myself going to orientation with my transcripts and USC telling me sorry your C isn’t going to cut it, bye now. I don’t know if Im too harsh on myself sometimes, but this is what USC has done to me

I have two B’s (one B is an 88%) and two A’s putting in about 70% effort and people around me are acting like I gave up on life lmao. Its hard chasing down that 4.0 when your chasing schools and a new living situation.

I feel like the spring semester is always more challenging because you are just ready to be done lol. Add to that the pressure of figuring out your plan for next year and you have a whole new nightmare.

Ya…this Spring semester is killing me at a Spring force of F=-kx.

I’ve had a 4.00 the past two years to get accepted into schools and this semester I’ve put in less effort. I have 5 classes and I have 3 A’s and I’m going to finish with B’s in the last two. Possibly a C in one if I f*ck up royally on our 100 question cumulative final.

I’m over it and want to move on.

The last 3 years have been interesting to say the least. Worked third shift full time for two of them while going to school full time holding down a 3.8 GPA. Thats not including the rest of the X’s and Y’s life has thrown at me. So this spring semester I am patting myself on the back and taking it easy because in two months my academics are going to reach a new level of crazy. I decided to dive straight into hell and take three classes in a 7 week summer quarter. Bring it on.

@arteest1 most of us on here can relate. I had crazy anxiety about my academics and career to the point where I would be up late past midnight trying to figure it all out. Eventually I got over it and focused on the present and what I could do now to reach my goals. Planning will only take you so far, you will be able to work out the kinks along the journey there

same here, the anxiety/anticipation especially gets to me at night when im about to fall asleep, and then i get like no sleep.

It’s extremely upsetting how I worked so hard to get an amazing gpa these past two years (as all of us have) to get into my dream school just to realize I can’t afford it. I got into both USC and UCLA and my heart is telling me usc but I know it would kill me financially. I knew USC was expensive but I thought they would help me out a little bit more with financial aid coming from a low income background.

@USC4Jordan congrats! does it say what time it was sent?

@Skepta got my package in the mail today.

does anything change on your portal after you submit your spring grades (bc of an sgr)?

How do we sign up for that service that notifies you when something is being mailed to you?

@sc4589 appeal your aid package, they almost always give more aid, even if it’s just a little
