2017 - 2018 USC Transfer

If you get a USPS notification does that mean you’re gonna get the package the day of or the following day?

Pretty sure you get the notification if it’s arriving that day

@penntousc Then there’s hope! I was thinking that if I didn’t get a notification today I wouldn’t get anything on friday.

@itslife123 yeah you should receive the notification the day of. However I never got text notifications working and I found out on the portal, so I’m not 100% sure but almost certain

How are peoples financial aid packages?

@Transfer510 Non-existent because I haven’t been accepted.

Wow, this sad attempt at humor on my part.

gentle reminder that if you commit its super great to withdraw all your other applications or decline your other acceptances so those spots might open up for someone else :slight_smile:

no news on my decision…is there no hope? serious question

@Drwizardmoose you have two weeks. There is hope!

What are the types of things that could get you rejected after getting an SGR? Lower gpa than what your cumulative is right now?

@Drwizardmoose some of my friends last year were on TTP and got admitted after May 20th

@arteest1 congrats on your acceptance. I think i would agree with people when its a 99.9% chance its an acceptance package.

@smh101 Since you’re a sophomore you have no room to do bad really. Try to get A in calc because a B can get you rejected like it did my friend last year who got a B in calc 2 and chem. Point is just do your best :slight_smile:

Just got an SGR. Viterbi sophomore applicant. Kind of disappointed cause I’m going to have to wait even longer but I was kind of expecting one because of all the core classes I’m taking this semester.

@Transfer510 pretty good for me, can’t really complain

Just received SRG
Annenberg Major!!!

Anyone hear anything about Sol Price?

Why is Viterbi just sending Sgr’s and not acceptances :frowning:

@sc4589 Appeal it. That’s what I’m doing.

At least you have a backup school. The UC’s won’t let me apply because I have a prior bachelor’s degree. (I can’t leave CA for family reasons.)

@kretsch What classes are you taking?
