@arteest1 Congrats! Goodbye Wisconsin hello sunshine all day everyday! lol
@itslife123 Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Physics Mechanics, and Microeconomics. I’ll be done with all my math courses after this semester.
@arteest1 congrats on your acceptance! didn’t know I had another fellow Wisconsin-native on here!
Props to you man @kretsch that’s impressive.
Thanks!
I got an SGR around 2 weeks ago. I had a 4.0 fall semester. And now for spring semester I might end up with 2 Bs and 2As, so my GPA might drop a bit. Do u think they will reject because of that?
Annenberg applicant here, just accepting my most likely rejection at this point
Third week of may almost over and nothing but silence form dornsife… not looking good here either.
@Skepta no dornsife applicants have heard back yet???
@aileen33445533 you can read more about it on “ask the dean” which is a different subtopic in the forum section
but generally colleges allow a slight change in grades; however, if there is a major shift that could be concerning (and you should clarify why if you can asap to your counselor)
@USC4Jordan congrats!! I’m trying to transfer from UCR as well haha
SCA applicants I hope we all get something soooooon
I have a feeling I’ll be one of the possibly many who will get their decisions on May 31st.
I’m not exactly sure what to expect… I wish I could be hopeful but looking at last year’s thread on that day is slightly unsettling
@itslife123 ahhh i have a feeling im going to end up with an A- in my calc class so Im kinda concerned ;-; do you know why else you could get rejected besides grades? Because I saw some people who got 4.0s and still got rejected
@smh101 probably the felt the coursework wasn’t sufficient to their liking. But honestly 4.0 sgr’s getting rejected is kind of rare. Just hope for the best A- is completely fine.
@itslife123 daaang that would be such a bummer considering they already know the classes you’re taking and then send you an SGR and then decide they dont think they’re that good
Any Viterbi sophomore applicant who hasn’t heard anything back from them? (Not even an SGR?)
@InfiniteHH98 The only thing I’ve seen so far are A lot of Sophomore sgr’s. So I think they are doing it on a rolling basis. So I wouldn’t worry too much yet.
@InfiniteHH98 I didn’t hear anything yet! :l
@InfiniteHH98 No SGR over here, but I don’t see me getting one since my Spring grades, although unsolicited, were already sent.
@smh101 chances are once your above the average gpa + test scores the only reason you’ll be rejected is if you are disappointing in a different area that USC cares about. (like no extracurricular, weak essay, etc)
