@greenpotatoe I’ve taken calculus and two engineering mathematics classes (ODEs, PDEs, Laplace, Fourier transform kinds of stuff) and got C+ (yup, I wasn’t a great student in my first semester of college), B+, B+, respectively. Also, I’ve taken two physics classes and got a B+ and an A. fyi, I have an upward trend on my GPA.
@tc20498 Like everyone else said, definitely speak with admissions before sending your spring grades in. One of the conditions of my acceptance was that I couldn’t get anything below a C in any of my classes, so it’s definitely possible that they could rescind your acceptance. However, considering they didn’t list any specific conditions for you, as long as you talk to them I think you’ll be fine.
@ashurikko if Annenberg decisions are being released today (Thursday) and the portal doesn’t update until Sunday, does that mean i can give myself a break and not refresh the portal 24/7 until Sunday? LOL. My zip code isn’t eligible for USPS notifications so the portal would be the only way I’d find out. ((also do you know if the Thursday decisions are just acceptances/rejections or SGRs as well?)) thank you 
@mellyjune I hope you hear back soon! I haven’t been active since I said I would be sticking at my old school. But my portal updated and I was accepted to Viterbi. I applied with a 3.3 gpa and my major is CS (Games)
@stahboy Were you a sophomore or junior applicant? (How many credit hours did you complete)

Update: the received documents section updated to reflect that my transcripts were received and processed so if your college e-mails your spring grades to USC they should have them on your profile within 24 hours.

@oso766 What will be added to the document section once they receive and update it with spring grades? Because right now it says “Transcript: School Name” and they only have my fall grades at the moment. Will another item be added that says something like “Spring Transcript: School Name”? I’m just trying to gauge what I should look for to see that they updated my portal with my spring grades.

For people who got a package or SGR from USC, did USPS send you a picture of the SGR letter before it was sent to your house? Or notify you about the package?
I’m getting a mail from USPS there is no picture of it.

Hi guys I need some help…my Fall semester I got a 3.7 (All A-'s) and this Spring semester I got a 3.35 (A,A-,B,B-). I did take harder classes this semester and I started a full-time job, working 30-40 hours a week while commuting to my four-year University. Overall I have a 3.53, and I’m a Dornsife Applicant. I received a SGR a month ago and am going to be submitting grades soon. With a 3.53GPA overall but 3.35 for this Spring semester, do you think I should explain my situation to my counselor (working full-time, personal/family conflicts) or just submit my grades without saying anything?
@nvz1997 it definitely wouldn’t hurt for you to talk to your counselor about it but you’re still in a better position than a lot of other dornsife people! I think the majority of us haven’t even gotten an sgr yet.

@renkim357 From what I’ve seen, the portal doesn’t update until 3 days after the mail has been sent so yep, you’re good until Sunday haha! And admissions just said “decisions” so I’m guessing it’s acceptances and SGRs since they send out rejections at the very end.
