2017 - 2018 USC Transfer

@transferk17 yup

Are rejections released on June 1st?

Like if you’re currently an sgr student and going ham on your spring semester lol

@itslife123 I had already set everything else up, and then sent my final transcripts in on I think 5/15

@dvalenc7 @pantafootball2 it ended up being an error, they never replied but I emailed one of the guys in the office of registrar and shortly after, my stars report was fixed and I had 6 GEs completed. The 7th one I’m going to petition for, was a nutrition class with no lab, but 20% of our final grade was lab work (project, dietary analysis) and when it was all said and done, the dietary analysis was 68 pages and needed a 3 ring binder lol

@roxy22 nobody knows exactly but yes, we expect most of them to be.

@annamarieeep Congrats! that is weird! So you received your acceptance in the mail and it was dated with the same date you received the SGR?

@Roxy22 Last year, my portal updated on May 30 with my rejection but the letter was dated May 27

@oso766, so basically they’ll be making most of the decisions tomorrow and will release them the following Monday?

Isn’t Monday Memorial Day…? So they probably have that day off

Oh you’re right, so I guess we’ll hear back this weekend or the following Tuesday then

@darlenez I can only imagine how annoyed he and all of the rest of them are. LOL. I certainly couldn’t imagine wading through that many transcripts and paperwork. It has to be exhausting! But if they truly do consider each application holistically, well, then perhaps there is hope for some of us that would have otherwise been overlooked. I’d like to believe that they recognize potential and are open to giving students a chance to prove themselves. They must be at some level because their GPA isn’t set in stone. That, along with many other factors, is what sets USC apart from the others to me. I too have high hopes! I have my fingers crossed for all of us who are waiting to hear back. May there be many acceptances on the horizon!

I know I asked before, but has anyone here heard back from Annenberg? I’m pretty much expecting a no at this point so I just need it to come so I can move on with my life.

@con1287 yes people have heard back from annenberg

Hey guys, ive stalked this post for a really long time since april. I have never though that I would actually get admitted into USC Marshall todayl. I am currently a rising junior at NYU. I am really struggling if I should attend USC. At NYU, I have already finished half of the graduating requirement with expected graduating date on Spring 2019 with Econ/Computer Science majors and Business minior. If I attend Marshall, i know that i would have to take many redundant classes at USC. I would have to give up my economics and computer science degrees for a business administration degree. I am also a Spring admit. I would have to push back my graduating term at USC if i do attend Marshall. I really have no idea what I should do.

@con1287 annenberg applicant here and I’ve heard absolutely nothing since I submitted my application. I think it’s pretty normal, I heard we’re dead last (or very close to it). All annenberg decisions were made and mailed out today (Thursday) though, so we should hear back on the portal by sunday. Good luck!

Well, I guess it’s over for me. It’s been fun guys, take care

@con1287 I’ve only seen PR students and maybe a few com…we were told Annenberg was sending everyone else their decisions today

@ashurikko did you receive your decision?

@penntousc No, not yet anyways. At this point, they’re going to be sending out rejection letters so I’m just accepting it now

@ashurikko don’t give up yet! If they sent anything out today, you wouldn’t get it until tomorrow or Saturday anyways, and the portal won’t update until Sunday
