Is it time to give up for dornsife?
@ashurikko My friend got her acceptance package on June 1st last year. Everything is mixed in because there are always delays with admissions. Don’t lose hope! We have 6 days to go

Is it too late to get a SGR at this point?
Honestly, if you’re on track to graduate within 4 years with a CS/Econ double major and business minor, I’d do that. I feel like the CS degree alone will be lucrative. Are you sure you can’t double major at USC?
@ashurikko I didn’t get my acceptance until June 6th. The letter was dated on June 5th, so if people were using this USPS app in the year I transferred, I wouldn’t have gotten the package notification until after June 1st. Of course, I was Dornsife and not Annenberg, Regardless, I didn’t give up despite the fact that I seemed to defy the “laws” of the admissions process by hearing almost a week after their deadline to notify everybody. The odds were surely pointing to a rejection given how late it was. There’s no reason to give up. As @mb007 said, there are six days left - maybe more if USC lags with any decisions.
Last year my friend got her acceptance in July although they did ask for an SGR. I don’t know whether this is uplifting or disappointing because I haven’t gotten an SGR or heard back from them yet… but my fingers are still crossed!
When I got rejected 2 years ago, they rejected pretty early, like in April. This is my second time applying (dornsife) and I’m going nuts. Also last time they didn’t invite me to apply for a scholarship, and this time they did, and of course applied for the scholarship too. My parents are not helping, they’re already acting like I got in and I keep telling them to not get my and their hopes up! Ugh.
@zettasyntax Thank you so much. Coming from you, it made me feel much better. I think the chances of me getting in are slim now but I guess I can’t give up until the very end. I’ll keep up hopes up. Also, I wanted to thank you for helping us out tremendously in this thread
@ashurikko although I applied to dornsife, I feel like we are somewhat in the same position. We both completed all major requirements and GEs with As, still not even an SGR. Literally nothing more we could have done lol.
Sometimes the USPS might not even notify you if you are receiving a package right? I haven’t gotten anything so far, including a USPS notification 
and I seen that some people never got a notification yet still got an acceptance?? Just making sure
@Skepta Yeah, I really don’t know anymore… I thought I had everything down but they’re unpredictable
@bmannn10 yea a good number of people have gotten acceptance packages without getting a notification.
I’m an Annenberg applicant too and I haven’t heard anything yet either. Don’t give up, we still have time! Hopefully tomorrow we’ll hear something

@ashurikko If anything, we should be thinking positive because people said rejections show up on the portal before we receive the letter. So if there’s still nothing on our portal it could be a good thing!
hello guys, Im new here. Im a sophomore applicant for Viterbi: computer science/ business administration. I got a SGR, how do i send in my spring grades to them?
And what are the chances of getting admitted if one does well in his/her spring courses?
I have been reading this thread every hour on the hour for the past 3 days. It has given me hope, and has also made me believe that I’m going to be rejected. This is a rollercoaster. I have dreamed of going to USC since I was 5 years old. Seriously. This is my biggest dream.

There is still a WEEK left guys, maybe more! keep your hopes up, don’t give up just yet. Remember that people continued to receive acceptances after the deadline.
Hope all this waiting pays off for all of us! At this point, are all decisions made? Or is there a possibility they’re still looking at applications?
I know I’ve had my freak outs on this thread and believe me I am still freaking out and thinking I got rejected, but it’s not actually over until you actually get rejected. There’s still hope because a few acceptances are mixed in and we could be one of the few! Good luck to us all! Keep up hope!
