@AGoodFloridian my son called admissions today and was told merit scholarships for transfer students were being mailed tomorrow and would show up on the portal next week.
@crazyboymom merit scholarships are being mailed tomorrow? meaning that anyone who got one will be notified tomorrow or would you already know if you got one?
@ngujo96 Yeah, I’m afraid a lot of rejections will most likely be coming next week, but also SGR’s as well… that’s my personal opinion based off what happened last year, but I don’t know for sure of course.
@Shagunbali I emailed the representative for the CCs in my area and she said that they’re still reviewing applications and we should have decisions “in hand” by May 31. I think that means they’re sending acceptance packages by then and final SGRs or waitlists (idk if USC has one but let’s hope) after that, but that’s just my prediction

Hey whether we get in or not, I know that everyone here is kind and supportive. You all deserve to get into your dream school, and USC will see that sooner or later.
i think for a lot of hopefuls maybe they’ll give us a spring semester acceptance. it won’t mess up their stats and it will offset all the people that got accepted but didn’t commit
@JaytotheB Usc can offer a spring semester acceptance for transfers? Even if they applied for Fall? If so, I wonder how many people are offered this.
I’m so glad I found this forum, though I’m a little late! I was accepted into SCA for the Film and Television Production major on May 16 (the same day I received the letter). Excited to hear from other applicants to SCA.

On my financial aid portal it says that I received the Transfer Deans Scholarship I think? I haven’t gotten accepted but I got an SGR. Sent my grades in the 23rd and it says the financial aid page was revised on the 25th. Is that a sign that I got in? Marshall Junior applicant 3.78 final GPA
