@pantafootball2 I got a B in Calculus and an A in Writing. I had a 3.29 GPA for the spring semester and that was BY FAR my lowest GPA during my 2 years at cc. So don’t freak out if you don’t do as well for your last semester!
@lilego69 did you happen to get the scholarship in your mail as well ? And congrats on your acceptance!!
@itslife123 the other group page “Fall official” is the one I made because the other group didn’t accept me until two weeks later lmao and I accept peep’s request within 30 minutes.
No update tonight, though that’s probably to be expected given that today was Memorial Day. I’m guessing anyone who hasn’t heard back yet will get something tomorrow at midnight.
Yeah, nada
@lilego69 wow that’s great! I have similar stats as yours but I only have my calc requirement during the spring left… but we end in the middle of June. I’m like working my butt off for that A but at least I feel a little better that you got a B and still got accepted ! Congrats btw!
@raindropdroptop Smokin on cookie in the hot box… sorry I couldn’t help myself haha
@pantafootball2 someone had to say it lol
Rejection letter coming in the mail today. Straight to the trash
Has anyone still not received their financial aid? I was admitted on the 19 and filled out all the multiple request by the 22 , and things that have already been turned in keep showing back up? There’s not much time until June 1.
Guys, my childhood dream came true! First in my family to go to college & of course, to USC! FIGHT ON!
@Jesus0512 when did u receive the letter in ur portal?
congrats @Jesus0512 whoop whoop
I want to make sure my appeal letter is as on point as I can get it but I’m pretty much lost about what to write. Do you think it’s worth mentioning that I’ll get my AA before transfer this spring quarter, or do you think they can tell based on the classes I’m taking? Also is there a thread just for USC transfer appeal people because I think that would be more helpful than clogging up this thread for the rest of you guys
My counselor replied, she told me to submit a one page appeal with my spring grades once they have been posted, and to include information that wasn’t already mentioned in the application. She said to mail it to her directly.
@greenpotatoe I’ve been in constant contact with my counsler & we are meeting to discuss about which courses will transfer & how to get classes at USC .She confirmed it. Should receive my letter and portal update soon.
@osu2usc Congrats ! What were your stats and is it true you need 48 credits to apply.
How long has it taken everyone to get their transfer credit report?
My decision is kind of hinging on that but my counselor said 4-6 weeks. The problem is that I already have a deposit at another school, and if I commit to USC I have to formally withdraw from the other school. But I don’t want to go unless I can graduate Spring 2019 because I’m 26 and I don’t want to postpone things any longer.
IMPORTANT QUESTION: Has any transfer gotten awarded merit aid yet?? I talked to FA office and they said they only award around 80 quarter tuition aid awards and people who got it would be told by the 1st
