Ohh, haha. I must not have seen his prior posts if he mentioned that. I was mainly going off his most recent post. What he typed didn’t exactly indicate if he got an SGR or not - just that he sent spring grades without being asked. I think being a linguistics major with an extreme like of syntax has me picking apart all sentences now :-/

Is anyone thinking about commuting to USC? I live in the South Bay and kinda am thinking about moving out there but also don’t really want toooo. Ugh.
I’ve been a reader of this thread for the past two weeks, especially as the USC transfer decision date comes closer, but I’ve also never spoken. Has anyone received any word of a decision?? My nerves are killing me -especially considering my GPA is a meager 3.5 which is not too impressive in retrospect- and it doesn’t help that I have a biology final today
@mersyno1 Listen, keep your hopes up!! I didn’t think I would get accepted considering I also had a 3.5 and everyone on this thread seems to have a 3.7+. How were your essays?
I got into spring 2018! Does anybody know if it’s possible at all to be moved up to Fall somehow? I’ll post my stats in the thread later~

@AtoTransfer Once you put in your commitment deposit, an option pops up on the left-hand side called “Send Final Transcript(s).” You just send them in the same way you send in your other transcripts.
Does anyone know what an sgr really means? I’m a dornsife chemistry applicant and I got a 3.9 for the semester (1 B- in a 1 unit Chem lab) but I’m still really worried :,(

@Skepta Wow . . . 1% is pretty disheartening. My counselor just responded today, thanking me for my appeal and submission of spring grades. I’m not going to hold my breath, but I appreciate him taking the time to review and reconsider my application.
Does anyone know how many appeals USC accepts each year?
