@uclatft I am transferring from Los Angeles City College as for EC’s hmmm well I did start my campuses first LGBTQIA on campus support/activist group and put together some amazing panels with some celebrity friends of mine but that is it.
@SCAHopeful2017 hi Kerri! I attend LACC as well. What has your experience been like with the counselor? Our counselor was recently changed during this application process and I wonder how that will impact applications. Also, what was your focus as far as coursework? I was in beteeen applying for SCA and Annenberg and ultimately decided to apply for Annenberg. I was a SGR applying as a sophomore and I’m still waiting to hear back but if the worst happens, I’m considering applying for SCA as a junior.
@ejsutton2006 A 3.96 compared to a 3.66 Gpa is a big difference to admissions more than you think.
I had a 3.66, 4.0, and then a 3.9 this year (sophomore applicant) — would ya’ll say those grades seem inconsistent?
@smh101 According to those grades it seemed like you improved and showed an ability to maintain your high grades (3.9 & 4.0 aren’t much different from each other)

If you don’t mind me asking, what was your cumulative and spring quarter grades?
Just wondering, is there anybody here that centralized their short-essay responses around the idea of of “how badly I want to go to USC?” (ex. incorporating facts about the school, clubs of interest, etc.) \ it’d be great to know!
@user98 yeah I did I talked about the Marshall club fair that is set up every year and talked about specific clubs in interested in also specific classes to show that I have researched a lot about Usc and it’s not just some back up to me.
