2017 - 2018 USC Transfer

@buizchick Your portal will change a few days after you have been accepted.

@buizchick no my portal did not change at all. i just got the package… the letter is dated July 7

@dogsAREsocool199 what’s your major

@pantafootball2 business

@dogsAREsocool199 WELL CONGRATS!!! :smiley:

@dogsAREsocool199 also… 1) when did you submit your spring grades? 2) did you get in for fall or spring ?

I have a package coming from USC that is priority mail and “up to $100 of insurance”. I’ve heard those are acceptances, is that true? I’m a viterbi applicant btw.

@buizchick I submitted by grades on June 19 and i got in for spring
@cfislander yea that is the acceptance package… Congrats!!

@cfislander how do u know that you’re getting a package

@Uciplz I signed up for myUSPS online and saw that their was a package coming

@cfislander can I ask you what major you got in as and your gpa?

@Uciplz Biomedical engineering, I’ll be transferring as a sophomore with a 4.0.

If I remember correrctly, the SGR paperwork USC sent me said that they want to have everything done by July 15, so next week should be when most, if not all, of us hear back.

Everyone go check their portals! Mine just updated this morning

For the people who were recently accepted, do you live on the west coast?

@bettycrocker03 it wouldn’t make a difference at this point, I’m pretty sure they always release decisions/acceptances on thursdays by mail and post to the portal by sunday, so anybody who had a decision made on their application last week would have been notified by now

@cfislander nice dude i have almost the same stats as you and the same major i hope i’m getting in lol

I’m a health science major with a 3.6 gpa not including the 4.0 I got this spring. I work at a doctors office and volunteer. I’m
Hoping that’s enough. My first semester was tough but since then I have been getting a 4.0 every semester. I’m
Hoping the admission counselor sees that.

Hi guys! I received my acceptance package in the mail yesterday! I am entering as a sophomore for the fall and I live in SoCal. I had a 3.8 GPA transferring from SMC and got in for my second choice major, psych. If anyone who is newly admitted and wants to connect let me know! Fight on.

So what are the chances of getting in with a 3.3? I did poorly first semester but brought my grades up second semester (3.8), also I submitted my SGR early May and still haven’t heard back. (I also go to a top 20 school but I’m not sure if they take that into consideration)
