Any appeals still waiting?
Apparently the Annenberg applicant acceptance rate was 7% this year.
@usc2563 - heard only 73 students were admitted this year, one of their toughest years to get in and the 73 is spread across Journalism, Public Relations and Communication! Almost as difficult as cinema school. Are you an Annenberg applicant?
I’m still waiting. My counselor initially told me I should know around the end of June but I read the middle of July somewhere else (and that’s when transfer appeal decisions were released last year). My portal is displaying all options including the financial aid section, but my application status still reads “No new messages at this time”. I also registered an account through My USPS to see if I have any packages on the way and I don’t. Fingers crossed, but I’m getting nervous at this point.
@businessbri are you appealing for Marshall? I called a few days ago, they told me to wait another “few weeks”
@Chasexm Yes, Marshall. A few weeks? Wow! I wish there was a specific acceptance/rejection day. Hopefully, we find out sooner rather than later. Goodluck!
@chasexm @businessbri I’m appealing for marshall too . My counselor emailed me last week and let me know appeal decisions should be out by the end of this week, but I don’t think that is going to happen. 
Just got my financial aid application! Decision was dated for July 11th! Its only costing me 6k a year to be Trojan!! Fight on!!

Portal changed this morning, and USC letter is coming today in mail. The USC portal had a copy of the letter sent out in the mail. I’m officially rejected :((
I forgot to mention that letter and portal was dated Wed. July 12th. I got a USPS notification, but it was for the rejection letter that is coming today. On my portal when I click on admission’s status at the bottom of the page under Current Messages it says “Application Decision Notification” and the date of Wed. July 12th
Any other rejections today? Good luck to those still waiting, and congrats to everyone who got accepted!

I think it’s safe to say that next week will be the week we all find out.
