2017 - 2018 USC Transfer

@penntousc thanks man! I remember we were here since august! Time flies. I’ll see you in the spring bro

Mine still hasn’t updated.
Strange. Seems like everyone’s is coming in

@tankle104 same here

@tankle104 @itssammiiee likewise, no updates. Some people have mentioned that their message on the application status updated to mention an SGR but mine hasn’t, still says that I’ll hear back by June first

@pantafootball2 Congrats on getting accepted! I’m going to re-apply for Fall 2018 after I take Calculus and all the required GE’s. I know that played a huge part in why I didn’t get in. I’d like to stay in contact with you, and anyone else who got accepted into Marshall in case I end up going next fall! fingers crossed. Feel free to add me on Insta! My IG is @sexysicily

any spring admits looking to live off campus ? I want to save money and get a multi bedroom apt between a few ppl I tend to wake up early and sleep early and I think i’m a decently clean dude. Girls or guys i don’t really care

@lrecupero hey thank you! And yeah focus on your GEs and do well in calculus. I hope it works out for you!

@lrecupero try to keep an eye out for classes that satisfy 2 GEs as well, that way you can take care of your GE requirements as efficient as possible (some are international relations, gender studies, history, humanities/religion, etc). Good luck!

@penntousc yeah I took a political science of IR course and it satisfied two GEs

What are he GEs? I applied but I had no idea what the GEs were

Is ur counselor whitney rollerson?

Mine is @ihatesatsm

@pantafootball2 oh awesome! When did you hear back? And huge congrats!!!

@ihatesatsm thank you! and I heard back July 15… the letter dated July 14!

@Roxy22 Yeah I’m still waiting too. When do you think they’ll send out decisions for appeals?

I got in! they put me in Spring 2018 for Marshall.

If it’s helpful to those who appealed, mine was successful. Rejected late May, appealed early June, accepted early July. There is no formal appeal process. Chance is slim but it’s worth a try if you really want to attend USC. Best to stay connected with your counselor too.

@uscdream4me Nice! What was your major, GPA, and how long was your appeal if you don’t mind me asking?

@Minknuts12 How did you find out? Mail or portal?

@penntousc That’s a great idea! I’ll check into that. The less courses I have to take the better. Thanks!
