<p>Truly guys, I think it has nothing to do with angry parents or students. What I do think it has to do with is yield rate. Think about it: if you release decisions before Ivy Day, then a lot of accepted students will forget about Lehigh as they hear back from Ivy League schools, etc. However, if you release decisions after Ivy Day, then a lot of accepted students will think about Lehigh much differently than if they had heard back before their other schools. Releasing decisions after the Ivies makes Lehigh less of a safety school, and more of a savior school. I truly believe the decision date is based off pure student psychology, and has nothing to do with the desire of admissions to avoid ****ed off applicants and parents.</p>

<p>I got all my aid things from other schools today and I bet other people as well. Honestly if Lehigh were to release their decisions earlier I think students would have taken lehigh seriously. I think it’s bad on Lehigh’s part that they are waiting so damn late. I don’t know just my own speculations though.</p>

<p>I posted on the admissions Facebook page and their response was “regular decisions will be available later this week, no exact date has been chosen” I’m so angry- I just want to know already!!</p>

<p>Just so you all know, several admissions officers were saying on December 17th (a Monday) that Early Decision decisions were going to come out “at the end of the week” but about 2 hours later they were posted online. Basically, what I’m saying is that today is still a possibility.</p>
<p>Lehighs admissions counselors seriously seem inept. Either way, I’ll keep you guys updated if i see anything on the portal! I’m about to call their admissions…</p>

What day of the week were early decisions posted on the portal? And for Northwestern, people were speculating, but when I tried to call admissions, there was only a generic message. I spoke to an actual person this morning when I called Lehigh, so that’s what made me think they would be released later in the week. And I personally don’t think that students are going to forget about lehigh if they release their decisions earlier than ivies. I don’t think a few days are gonna make a difference.</p>
<p>Also, does anyone know if scholarship info will be posted when the decisions are posted?</p>
<p>Admissions will be posted on Friday around 4:45 PM from what the lady at the admissions office said when I called a few moments ago. This wait is really killing me. scholarship will probably come in the mail</p>
<p>I was looking through the ED thread and someone called on a Monday and asked about decisions, and the admissions officer said they would be posted on Tuesday. Then they were posted that same day, Monday. So I just think we have to take what the admissions office says with a grain of salt. It seems crazy to me that they would make us wait a full week longer than they made people wait last year.</p>

<p>I agree…very confusing! And what was with post #205 on page 14 of this thread? Sorry, I don’t know how to quote it. It said letters went out on Friday according to someone who works in admissions office?? If this is true people should start getting letters today and tomorrow.</p>
