Hello all. I am in a major sticky situation and would like to get more opinions on what I should do.
Basically, I will be graduating this upcoming month to get my associates degree. I will be graduating with cum laude and finishing this semester up on presidents list. I applied to 3 colleges to transfer too (which I do not feel comfortable disclosing). Lets just say that one school is considered a public ivy #1, school #2 is amongst the top 20 schools in America and also my dream school, lastly school #3 is just a regular d1 school that was just my back up option.
I have heard back from two, being school #2 and school #3. My dream school did not basically reject me but told me they’d like to consider me a spot for fall instead due to limitation in the spring. I believe they only took 20 students in this semester. They have asked me to just submit my final grades from this semester nothing more which seems pretty fair and nice. My parents think I should choose between school #1 and school #3 to stay for the spring semester and then transfer again to my dream school since i was given the option. Please do not tell me I should choose neither and pick a school to call it a day. I have made up my mind I just cant seem to figure out if I should pick school #1 because of the recognition or if I should just pick school #3 which is closer to my home, and I could do honors.
