Just kidding. It’s weird though. I was in the first “wave” of first round decisions and still waiting now. Hoping for a portal update in the afternoon or tomorrow.
GUYS I AM SO HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT I GOT INTO MARSHALL!!! This is a dream come true for me I cannot believe it. Nothing in the mail; it was a portal update. I got in for Spring 2019!

On my usc financial aid portal, i’ve been asked to send my parents w-2 forms, but i cant figure out how to attach it. Could anyone let me know how i can send it to them?
Omg I got into Dornsife for the fall semester!!! I checked my portal today around 3 pm local time. They received my spring grades two days ago on Monday. I can’t believe it! By the way, for anyone who thinks he or she doesn’t have a shot at getting in, please don’t be discouraged. I have a 3.4 or 3.6 depending on how you calculate the gpa (I’ve been to many schools and repeated some courses) but got straight A’s for the past few years. I explained my situation in my essays. I had a rough start after HS because I was suffering from depression. But I’m now back on my feet. I didn’t think I would have a chance at USC but they are very forgiving. I surely wasn’t expecting being admitted for fall. I thought that best case scenario they would offer me spring admission. So please don’t give up and believe in yourself. I will post my stats on the decision thread.

I see on here more and more people being accepted who have just sent in their spring grades. Congratulations! I’m getting so anxious now. My spring we’re sent in literally a full month ago. Is it normal to be waiting THIS long? I’ve heard 2-3 weeks and other places 4-6 weeks. Anyone else on here waiting for a decision?
@Tuttwirl im waiting for a decision after sending in my spring grades as well, however i uploaded mine on monday cause thats when my semester ended. Hopefully we hear back soon.

It seems that everyone who’s been accepted to marshall in the last few weeks got a spring admission. I guess they already filled too many spots and just had to reject, or defer students to the spring semester. I really feel that if my college ended three weeks earlier that I’d gotten fall admission.

@JakeChi I had the same issue. I called the Articulation Department a few days ago, and they said that since the community colleges I attended aren’t in their records, it’s taking longer for them to process my GE’s. And although a lot of my GE courses transferred, I need to petition to have them counted towards my GE credits. They said I don’t need a syllabus, but I need to provide forms that prove that I’ve taken those courses in 2015 and after because that’s when they switched over to the new GE’s. It might be the same case for you where you have to petition to have them count towards GE credits because it’s not in their records for after 2015. The department also said that my report will continue to update until orientation. I hope this helps!

@Tuttwirl That’s so long to wait for a decision, oh my lord. I hope you hear back soon with good news! My semester ends tomorrow and I’ll be sending in spring grades on Monday, hopefully.
