I’m excited about Prime Day, too. I just bought a two pack LED night light with brightness adjustment and light sensor for only $6.50 using promo UI7JZH6Z. Figured it’ll help my kid when navigating the room at night without disturbing her roommate.

I just got a desk lamp that is Alexa compatible. So he can turn on and off the light from anywhere via voice. Might come in handy if he comes late and doesn’t want to turn on the main light.
If you buy Alexa products make sure it’s allowed/compatible with the school internet network. I know it’s not at my college
Prime Day was a big let down for me. I got on shortly after three and found one item that was exactly what I wanted at an amazing price. Then the page refreshed and it was gone. The site did not work for me after that because of the heavy traffic. Very disappointing.
Working better today - and the event goes all through today.
@abasket You’re right! It is better today. I got on early enough today, before it went crazy, so I could get the items D needed. I was tempted to over-buy but before submitting my order, I deleted some unnecessary stuff from my cart.
After Amazon, I went to Target.com to find some other stuff that I couldn’t find at a great price on Amazon. They are having deals today, too.
It’s been a successful morning online shopping but the dogs kept looking at me, waiting for me to take them out.
I got a twin XL mattress topper, which is now sold out. But there’s a memory foam twin XL mattress topper on a deal now.
I picked up a Brother HL-L2300D laser printer for $59.99 for the dorm room.
It’s a basic b/w printer without wireless printing (which prevents lots of kids connecting and printing all hours of the day).
