My son just recieved an appointment to serve as a US Senate Page 1st Semester of 2018-19. We’d love to hear advice/experiences. Please share.

Congrats to him! It’s a fantastic experience. There are plenty of threads on here with quite a bit of advice and info. That said, I would say to make sure to focus early on about how to manage time between work, homework, and social activity. Time management is HUGE in this program. Also, make sure to take advantage of every opportunity that comes his way… things that seem like little things throughout the experience will seem big once away from the Capitol for a while!
I did this when I was in high school and it was a fantastic experience.
