USC acceptance will light up my life… Had rough 2 years and I want to get reward from my hard work. I feel like a lot of people will have same feelings with me…
@filmmajorusc I got an email about it 2 weeks ago saying after preliminary review we need your spring grades to finish evaluating you
when are people suspecting the next wave to be?
@itsgoingtobeokay I think people are assuming sometime next week but I’m hoping for tomorrow. We shall see soon enough, tho!
@itsgoingtobeokay
I’m hoping tmr because they have been posting on their admission stories
@chels991 Is that a typical sign of them releasing soon?
@Miniman1673
Maybe, because they were posting I think 2 different students that took over usc admission stories
Then on that Friday they started to release TTP decisions
I think it may be viterbi releasing bcuz a viterbi student is on the story rn
Hey everyone so I’m currently a freshman at a CC but I will have just a little over 50 units done by the end of this spring semester. Does this mean I am applying as an incoming sophomore or an incoming junior? 32+ units at USC is considered a sophomore btw
What time of day does USC normal release decisions.
i ended up calling my admission counselor and asked if any transfer decisions have been sent out and he said no that they would start around mid may and that everyone would have an answer by may 31st
@helloimnervous dang, this sucks to hear, but at least we will all have a decision before may 31. Thank you for the update.
so no decisions will be released today? man this sucks
When I called AO about mail address change, what they said made me felt it should be next week
Counselors will usually always tell you “Don’t expect anything until the end of May” just to get you off the phone. They say May 31st, so I would not call until June 1st. They usually always release a big wave at the end of April or beginning of May though. Just relax and be patient
If we get a wave tomorrow, cool. If not, oh well lol.
^^^lol. Every year we have had posters say “I just got off the phone with admissions (or my counselor) and they said results will be in two weeks/end of month/next week,” etc. Then two hours later a flood of results come out.
They do say anything to get you off phone, and I honestly believe they have fun telling each different caller something new.
It would be out of character for them to not have something come out this week, like tomorrow, but they are in charge, so @vegastransfer is right, just gotta keep busy. Because the yield numbers were crazy high the last couple years, they may be being more cautious to see how many commit May 1, slowing down results. Housing and resources were slammed the last couple years and it was terrible. They need to get it right.
For whoever asked about Viterbi, they are usually mid May and at the later end of the first wave, they are one of the last schools to put out acceptances. It usually rolls - Marshall and Dornsife at same time and first glob, followed by Annenberg a few days later (the next week) followed by Viterbi a solid week or more after that. They are always last. Probably because of size, they have to be more careful with their numbers. Or they are just engineers and more careful, ha. Hang in there everyone.
I called today and the person was extremely rude
And honestly cannot blame the staff that would be upset. Imagine being bombarded every single day about when decisions come out.
And I understand that patience is extremely important in this, but if I’m out 500+ dollars on a lease or another school commitment fee it’s going to be the worst. Super turned off rn
Will I be able to get my admission decision with missing financial aid requirements? My FAFSA got messed up so I have to resubmit and I’m missing some documents according to FAST.
