@vegastransfer congrats! I have not filled out the CSS profile because I am in a sticky situation where I am not able to provide that info, either. If I don’t fill out the CSS profile, will I not be granted tuition? Is USC FA solely from the CSS APP?

@ShawnUSC I will have 49 as a rising sophomore at the end of this semester at TCU (with incoming credit ofc) and had a 3.8 first semester as a poli sci major (my 1 B was in pre med Gen Chem 1, wanted to prove that I could do science since my ACT wasnt too hot). I applied for Philosophy Politics and Law and had almost all my gen eds done at TCU with incoming credit so I primarily took major-oriented courses if that helps at all

Also, as a junior applicant, I don’t receive any request for SGR. Does that mean only sophomore will receive the request? Thx!
I haven’t received any grade requests or emails. Haven’t noticed a change in my portal either. It seems that most sophomores have heard back. Hopefully, juniors will hear back in the coming weeks. How do you guys know a wave will be released today?
Since USC released a big wave the forth Friday in Apr. last year, and someone called the admissions, and they said they will release notification very soon. Hopefully they will release today.
@JYYY03 Okay, that makes sense. Doesn’t the package come first though? I read somewhere on this thread the portal gets updated three days later. Wouldn’t we see a portal update on Sunday/Monday then?
Maybe… I have no idea. What we can do now is just waiting for the update.

Ok I need to know pronto cause it’s between usc UCLA and UCSD and I’ve gotten into both so I’m just waiting on usc…
@jvroomsc I would try and get the noncustodial parent to fill it out ASAP. If not, submit the special circumstances form for a waiver of the noncustodial CSS Profile. USC uses FAFSA and the Profile, so you need to do both. Without the CSS Profile, your financial aid application would be considered incomplete.

Did 5pm release ever happened to USC. I think its only for UCLA
