@Irigrotcart did you register on the USC housing portal first? once you’ve registered and have an account, theres an application button next to the home button. that’s where people have been registering for housing.
@sagaciousforever i visit usc weekly to see my boyfriend so i can definitely help you out! of course the village is beautiful, and i did add the village in there because one can hope. but most likely none of us will get village housing. unless some random freshman for some reason drops out and there’s an opening. it fills up quick. for village, i think that both cowlings/ilium & cale/irani are beautiful. my boyfriend had cowlings this last semester, and it was really nice! rooms were spacious, and it seems to hold a lot of 2B/DB apartments. i’m not 100% about cardinal gardens, but i’ve heard great things about there as well. my friend was there last semester. lmk if i can be any more help for you 
@transferusc88 Thanks a lot! What does “2B2P” means? 2 bedrooms for 2 people? Isn’t that single room then? Seems like 2B3P-SGLE is single.
From googling and reddit’ing it seems Webb, First Choice Housing, Gateway as some mentioned, Mosaic, and lastly Lorenzo seem to be popular choices. I’ve never been to LA so anyone familiar willing to chime in beyond google I’d be more than thankful.
EDIT: Okay Mosaic and First Choice seem to be way too different. Is Lorenzo that bad in terms of luxury and pricing? Prices seem pretty fair and decent from googling. Especially for how lavish it looks. Not looking for anything near as fantasy but the pricing seems decent or am I delusional?
@transferusc88 Also, there are 2B3P-SGLE and 2B3P-DBLE.
Does 2B3P-SGLE mean 2 bedrooms for 3 people but you will get the single room and others two get the double room?
So 2B3P-DBLE means you will get the double room sharing with a roommate?
can we expect decisions any day next week?
@sagaciousforever 2B2P is a two bedroom, 2 people in that room. while a 2B3PSGLE is a single one bedroom but shared apartment with two other people. the opposite of that one is 2B3PDBLE which is the double occupancy one. 2B4P is also a popular one which is two people per room in an apartment. 4 people total.

I was able to register for housing as well but I have not applied yet. That is interesting that they would let us register for housing without any decision yet lol. I will wait to submit my application until after a decision though.

Look on the housing website, all the options and pricing are there.
So it does not appear that having access to the housing application or having the “financial aid summaries for transfer students…” message on the FAST portal is any indicator of acceptance or not. Unless all of us got accepted lol. Let’s just hope a wave comes through over the next few days so the anxiety can end!
@CADREAMIN Should I put any Village (residential college options) on my preferences, or should I not bother about it since the chance is close to none.
@vegastransfer It’s not an indictor. I should have applied for housing in February when I received my USC ID. I could have even get housing in Village if I have done so.
