I just checked my portal and have the SGR on my checklist. No email notification. It had to have been added today as I check my portal frequently. I have a feeling everyone is going to have to submit a SGR at this point.
I applied to Marshall. I have a 3.81 and I have completed the Calculus requirement with an A (took both business calc and engineering calc), the Writing requirement with an A (honors credit in addition), Econ 1&2 with both A’s, financial accounting with an A (recommended not required), and I am currently finishing managerial accounting (recommended not required).
Does this mean I will not hear back from USC until my final grades are posted? Sorry if that is a dumb question, but I am unsure. Not sure if I can wait all summer to hear back.
Also… do you think everyone is getting an SGR because of the admissions scandal? I thought I lucked out and wouldn’t have to submit one before hearing back. Guess not…

@maheralsakkaf Way too early to call - this could just be a few acceptances, we don’t know if it is a group wave. Even if a wave today/tomorrow, they send out individual acceptances for a long time. It’s just nice if they have a burst now and then too.
In the past, (which who knows anymore if it means a thing) Annenberg follow Marshall and Dornsife by a few days, not at the same time. So relax @transferusc88 - you still may have awhile before Annenberg puts out anything. And Viterbi - they are always last, more like mid-May.

Just want to say thank you to everyone on this forum, especially @CADREAMIN. All the advice you provide is truly helpful.
USC has been my dream school since I was 7 years old. Slacked off in high school and wasn’t competitive, but came into college with a different mindset and with the belief I would be accepted. For future applicants - keep grinding, it does pay off.

@jordanbelfort1 Thank you! Your Trojan attitude/demeanor is easy to spot, you will fit in so well!!! It is fun sometimes to just use posts rather than stats to guess if someone will get in. It’s a pretty reliable system actually!
