2019-2020 USC Transfer

In other news, my dad brought home a big red box and I asked what it was and he said it’s yours and my heart stopped for a minute until I realized it was clothes. ?

Has anyone gotten in since May 1st?

Very true @FemmeFilmFatale But it seems like a lot of acceptances for Marshall were sent out on May 1

@poolsideconvo78 Really? I thought it was mostly Dornsife but what do I know, lol. One of the old pros on here on said that more “single” acceptances come out for the different schools during the rejection wave. I wouldn’t worry about it much though because literally none of the other schools except Dornsife and some of Marshall have found out. I think they’ve only let a small, small fraction know.

@chlduwls Nobody on here, to my knowledge.

The official announces that the freshmen admission rate for 2019 is around 11%, which means that transfer admission rate will drop as well (usually 1/3 of the freshmen). I am waiting for my desicion as well. I have a feeling that I may be rejected already, but life will go on. It is a tough year for us…however, don’t lose HOPE. Cheer UP everyone !!

@Maxxxxxxxxx I keep saying, “Of all the years for this to happen, of course, it had to be ours.”

Has anyone got rejected yet?

@FemmeFilmFatale I think you bring up a great point about how many decisions are still left. There are still three weeks left and I would wager probably 50-75% decisions are still probably not out. Let’s keep the hope up

Have any Viterbi’s heard ANYTHING

Man just reject me already lol.

Nothing still… I feel like that video of the news reporter guy “let me innnnnnn”

@transferusc88 yesss, I literally made a version of that

@FemmeFilmFatale Very relatable due to our situation

Sorry guys, I really thought there would be more out this week. On a positive note, I have never seen so many appeals turned over which makes me question yield this year. Over 9 years, I have only seen one or two posts that an appeal was successful and have heard Brennan say out of 1000+ appeals they overturned 10 most years. Which lines up with only seeing one or two on cc. But this year there have been at least 10 people posting their appeal went through so maybe that tells us there is more room at the inn…who knows??? But just a thought. So maybe there is more spaces for transfers overall. Just thinking out loud here.

To sum up re transfers:
Only ones that have heard are TTP (various majors) and Marshall plus Dornsife. There will be more Marshall and Dornsife but sputters versus big wave between now and end of May.

Annenberg should be next in a wave.

Followed by Viterbi, SCA, Price, Roski all about same time. May 16 - 24thish

Rejection wave around May 24th but maybe closer to 31st since everything seems whack this year.

And of course SGR folks into June and July. They still may send out more SGRs, we see those coming out end of May as well.

Hang in there. Yes, it is always like this as those going through it a second time can attest. Good luck all!

Go Warriors!

@CADREAMIN Do you think there’s a high chance that all the decisions and rejections that haven’t been released can come at the same time? Like everything coming around the 24th?

That would be a first if they did. Usually from the 16th, things start buzzing, They have done the same as always so far with Marshall/Dornsife kicking it off, but they were just a week later than usual. The other difference is hearing nothing this week (usually Annenberg) but maybe graduation messed with the time table since they started later. So hopefully there is something early next week. But I hate to say anything cause I know it can make people more anxious!

that wasn’t a news reporter my guy…

@CADREAMIN Is it okay to assume that there will be a big wave of acceptances for Marshall and Dornlife next week (May 13th to May 17th), but after May 20th (next next Monday) it will be mostly rejections?

lol “news reporter guy” is hilarious/vulgar comedian eric andre and his brand of humor is definitely not for everyone
